I tried out the Multiple Choice feature, and it failed at the one thing a polling tool is supposed to do correctly: Adequately record votes.
I'm sorry, but no amount of "Sorry, that was a bug" can fix this. If your tool misrepresents what participants are choosing, you are worse than just having people raise their hands (not ideal, but it's more reliable).
My only guess is that there is a rogue developer in the company using a randomizer to occasionally screw up the results for new users. Swift Polling, I would immediately go check your code for subterfuge.
I promise this is no user error. Here's what I did:
1) I created a 6-item multiple choice poll on my computer 2) I logged on to the participant view with my iPad (Chrome browser) and picked some sample responses 3) The presenter view (showing results) literally showed the wrong inputs
My jaw dropped. How could it be wrong?
So I did it again with a second poll that I started from scratch. Same result. I choose option 3 (on my iPad), it records as option 1 (on the screeen). Wacky!
And if a participant unchecks a result and chooses a different one, Swift doesn't pick that up. BROKEN.
Stay away from this tool, y'all, if you ever want to use a Multiple Choice poll.
I'd also suggest that AppSumo try out the tools before using. Even a little bit of quality control would have caught this.
1) if i stack all codes, can i rebrand the header from swiftpolling to my brand name?
2) i ve thought quite awhile for this last question ; if number of reponses and participants are limited, why would you give features that able us to ask unlimited question and create unlimited survey. Are we able to buy more "response" or more "participant"? If yes, then it makes sense, but, If no, what would unlimited survey and unlimiter question mean?
It seems like a promising product
Just my suggestion 1) to double each response and participant 2) buy 3 code and above to pre set toour own brand in the header
By doing so, i think it would be more appealing to appsumo crowd
4 tacos for me for the time being
Allthe best

Hi shaze86,
1. The header rebranding is coming. It will be available for all the users very soon.
2. We cannot limit the number of questions and surveys since the use cases may vary. For example, if two users have a maximum of 10,000 responses, but one of them has 100 participants and the other one has 1000 responses, the number of maximum polls created per account will be different. That's...
I was pleasantly surprised by this tool. I run and host virtual events, panels and training. Within 10-minutes i was able to get both Poll and a Q&A presentation running. My business development colleagues is already demoing and pitching this to our clients as we speak, for their upcoming event this weekend that we helping to produce.
Use cases : Live events, hybrid events, teambuilding, AGMs, summis & conferences. All of which brings the bacon for me and my team :))
Thank you Swift/ExciteM team (shoutout to Elizabeth too)

Thank you for your lovely feedback! We are happy that you enjoy Swift.
Here's a poll created using Swift Polling https://p.excitem.com/s/play/80178bc9-f073-46d1-8904-ac600fd1b439
The Web Polling looks good and the platform itself is easy to use for interactive presentations and webinars. You have 3 options 🌮 multiple choice 🌮 open ended 🌮 word cloud
What I don't like is that 🌮 every page has their own ad space (no way to put a link to your website or brand -- it's just excitem all through and through). It's like they get free advertisement for every presentation I make that I use their platform to engage my audience. I understand if this is a FREE tool like the wheel of ***** gamification platform, but NO this is a paid one at that. 🌮 Poll Forwarding does NOT WORK at all, not sure why that option is there! Just try voting on the poll and it should only show the results 🌮 Limited votes per stack, I think this one turned off a lot of Sumolings, and SMS was not included, even for a measly number. 🌮 Only 1 active POLL per account! This might also be a deal breaker. Is it 1 active poll per user so if one has 20 users then there is a maximum of 20 active polls??
Overall, I think it could have been better. If you're looking for an alternative, you can check out my review of Poll Guru, a current deal on the Marketplace. It is not as polished in terms of the interface, but has a lot more functionalities / options, albeit a bit rough on the edges. Here is a link to the same poll question on Poll Guru
I wish the team all the BEST on their next campaign after the deal ends in a few days!

Hi Mike,
Thank you for leaving a review and I'm sorry it didn't go very well for you. Let me address your concerns.
What I don't like is that 🌮 every page has their own ad space (no way to put a link to your website or brand -- it's just excitem all through and through). It's like they get free advertisement for every presentation I make that I use their platform to engage my audience. I...
I waited on this review until we used it live. We needed something to collect/show our polls and results during live events. I did **zero** testing with this product before going live so I put a lot of trust in the software. The full story follows...
This past Thursday we had our usual monthly live event with ~120 live attendees. We used Swift Polling to run 4 anonymous polls during this event to get some industry feedback. In the past, we used GoToWebinar to present live polls to attendees but these days, we're using Streamyard so that's no longer an option. Before Swift Polling, we used ProProfs Polls and that was a legit trainwreck. So here's how our experience went.
The day of the event, I created the 4 polls and linked them together. So, after submitting poll 1, poll 2 gets shown, then poll 3, etc. Poll 4 shows the final "thank you" message. The polls were set up to hide response results because that was used as a webinar teaser to keep attendees until the end.
Then I created a one-click poll link and set up an examplesite.com/poll redirect that linked to the loooong Swift Polling one-click link (they have a support article that explains how to get the link).
Next, we went live and showed the 4 questions throughout the event with the same examplesite.com/poll each time. We provided links in the chat as well and kept explaining how results would be shown later.
At the end, I opened the Swift Polling dashboard, dragged it onscreen and displayed the results of each poll to the audience.
It was simply perfect. The presentation looked top-notch, the software was fast, responsive and worked as described. And the most important part of all...we got 53 out of ~100 attendees to respond. We barely got 10 with Proprofs Polls so we were quite happy with the end result.
If you need live event polling, this here software is a complete, 100% no-brainer at this lifetime price. Please do not hesitate on it. Thanks for offering the deal on AppSumo!
Suggestions:
1. Give me an easy way to create a one-click login link for attendees. 2. Piggy-backing on the above, give me an easy way to make it a short URL. We have our own, but others may not. 3. Give me a special "cleaner" screen to help show the poll results live during events. The current screen shows my plan info and other details. I know it's collapsible, but some people might not see the arrow. It would also be nice to show my company logo on that "cleaner" screen. It would be really nice to have a pop-up modal window that doesn't show the browser URL bar or anything besides the polls and results when clicked.
