Not just buggy: Fundamentally Inaccurate
I tried out the Multiple Choice feature, and it failed at the one thing a polling tool is supposed to do correctly: Adequately record votes.
I'm sorry, but no amount of "Sorry, that was a bug" can fix this. If your tool misrepresents what participants are choosing, you are worse than just having people raise their hands (not ideal, but it's more reliable).
My only guess is that there is a rogue developer in the company using a randomizer to occasionally screw up the results for new users. Swift Polling, I would immediately go check your code for subterfuge.
I promise this is no user error. Here's what I did:
1) I created a 6-item multiple choice poll on my computer
2) I logged on to the participant view with my iPad (Chrome browser) and picked some sample responses
3) The presenter view (showing results) literally showed the wrong inputs
My jaw dropped. How could it be wrong?
So I did it again with a second poll that I started from scratch. Same result. I choose option 3 (on my iPad), it records as option 1 (on the screeen). Wacky!
And if a participant unchecks a result and chooses a different one, Swift doesn't pick that up. BROKEN.
Stay away from this tool, y'all, if you ever want to use a Multiple Choice poll.
I'd also suggest that AppSumo try out the tools before using. Even a little bit of quality control would have caught this.
