Q: Hello Stephen, Your blogging plateforme looks really great, good job !

I have a question:
Did I miss something, or how should we activate the comments at the bottom of each post?

Don't tell me that I have to use an integration with a paid external service? It can't be that, can it?
CommentBox costs $120 per year...!

Or is there another trick?

The ability to comment on a post is a basic feature. In my opinion, this is part of the very definition of a blog.

I hope I misunderstood the setting ;-)

Comments are not easy, to have good comments, I would have to create moderation tools, have strong spam filters and manage logins for commenters.

Rather than create a half-baked solution, it would be better to use an integration.

If you find a comments service that is free or cheaper, I would be happy to build an integration to that service.

What are you thoughts on Hyvor talk?

Thank you for your answer.
Too bad!
Your platform looks just perfect.
Unfortunately, I have no knowledge of commenting services, and I'm afraid I'm going to waste too much time looking for an external service - which is going to cost me a lot more than this Lifetime deal.
If Swish doesn't have comments, then it's not going to do it for me.
This is really a key point: a blog must offer comments, otherwise what's the point? We want to encourage interaction with our readers.
I thought Swish was an alternative to Wordpress without the Wordpress headache ;-)
But even Wordpress (which is free) offers comments (100% free).
All blogs have comments. Without comments, it's no longer a blog, it's just a website (1.0).

Wouldn't it be possible to create at least a basic commenting solution pour Swish ?

I'd like to write my articles, not waste time looking for an expensive technical solution so that my readers can react to what I write.

From the founders :
"Really, if there is anything that takes time away from writing your articles, Swish has a way to make it easy, and if it doesn't, let me know and we'll build it."
-> If Swish doesn't offer comments, it doesn't simplify my workflow. Pleeeease build it ! :-)

@babbly Hyvor talk looks interesting, I will work on an integration for it.

@ls3 I understand that you would really want comments provided by Swish. However, I will be honest that it is unlikely that Swish will have its own comments anytime soon.

Perhaps you could do something with this?

@babbly I have added an integration for Hyvor Talk now. Try it out and let me know what you think.

@babbly I have also added an integration for Facebook comments
