I'm just getting into Switchboard Canvas and figuring it out, but my mind is spinning by the use case possibilities for this tool. For me, it's one of those inspirational AppSumo tools that you want to use just to see what you can create with it. In fact, I'd love to see more suggestions from the SBC team and other users on what they are using the tool for and maybe even a list of free / premium data sources that could be used with switchboard.

For inspiration alone I give it 5 Tacos! However, there is room for improvement on the canvas creator. Being a Photoshop based designer, here are a few things I'd like to see so far.

1. I'd like to see Crello, Deposit Photos, and Wave.Video (all previous AS deals) added as graphical input sources.
2. I'd like to see support for transparent PNG and GIF files from the graphic sources above along with Canva added to achieve more photoshop like layers.
3. There's only a rectangle tool. Please also add a line, circle, triangle / polygon creation tool.
4. When you round the corners of a rectangle, the stroke does not seem to follow the rounding. So, if you make a rectangle into a circle, the stroke is not a circle but instead a rectangle with slight rounding and the sides cut off.
5. Add drop shadow and outer glow.
6. Allow us to specify which area of photo will be shown no matter how the template is modified for the different layouts. For instance, if the subject is on the far right of a rectangular layout, and we make a square Instagram post they should still be in view slightly on the right side if they are selected to be locked on.
6. Please add a directory of dynamic data sources / API that can be used with this ( like the sports scores you mentioned in one of your videos )
7. Add a place for users to share their use cases or even post their templates.

The founder seems to be very active with this tool and I hope they keep it up. Even if nothing else is added, this is a very powerful tool, but I'm certain some suggestions above are already under consideration. You should get it no matter what...and be inspired by what you could do.
