First the good. I can tell this a well developed tool that competes very will with the competition. The direct integration with Canva is golden. The user interface is also very well designed. I love the layer adjustments and how easy it is to move things forward and back. I think the team nailed that design feature. I also love the responsive design consideration and auto-resizing of text to constrain it to a bounding box according to a max font size.

Now the not so good stuff. It lacks snapping or canvas guidelines. It's sorely needed.

Also, it only only has two objects: text and rectangles.

To be fair though, there are two workarounds. First, you can upload your own objects, such as PNG files and the transparency is preserved which is golden. Second, because it integrates directly with Canva so you can import a Canva design right into Switchboard (which is amazing). But this comes at a fault. The resizing of the canvas obviously doesn't work with a Canva design. I mean, it will resize, but the objects don't move accordingly because Switchboard basically imports a static image from Canva. But if you plan on using Canva for 1 resolution and then just using Switchboard to change the content on that static image, then it works great.

What I would like to see added to the roadmap is guidelines, snapping, and also Crello (now called vistacreate) integration (if possible).

Conclusion
I think this is a must-buy if you want to create bulk images and have API access.
