Unfortunately, that's a dealbreaker for me. I would have hoped that, if it's not a lifetime deal, at least the price would stay the same after one year. But this sounds like you might get an offer that's maybe a bit cheaper than the regular prices. For Tier 3, that would be about 1,728 USD per year on the website.
