SyncSpider

Product details

Q: Hi, I0m on the fence to buy SyncSpier but I'm a bit worried about data breaches that happened to tools like ...

this before (I need to pass sensitive data between tools). What are the security measures you have in place to ensure client data is safe? Are you GDPR compliant?

Thank you

Hi John,

Thank you for that question, we take security seriously! Let me answer all your Q's.

Yes, we are GDPR-compliant. We are bound to it, since we are based in Austria, EU.

We often have security checked by our own internal security protocols. We recently had a security upgrade that you can check on this link: https://syncspider.com/security-release-note/

You should also know, that we are not storing any client data, nor your system data. We are only transferring data between 2 of your various systems. And we do it with secure protocols.

The transactional data we must store, is only held for 2 weeks, and it is in a secure Mongo database,

Let me know if I can answer any other questions. Cheers

Hello aleks,

Just to be sure, what kind of data do you store for the 2 weeks?

Thank you

Hi John, data we need to have in order to achive do incremental updates of products, orders or similar. This helps us not to sync all your product data every time. So, data we are syncing..

We don't store any of your accesses to any of your systems. Those autorisations are typicaly done via tokens, or api keys.

Hi aleks,

I'm sorry, one last question:

- Can you export a google sheets file to pdf on a given time interval (every week on friday for example) and send an email with that file attached?

Thank you

Hey John, happy to answer any questions:)

No, that is still not possible.

It is possible to set up a scheduled task, which will export a SpreadSheet...but no, I don't think we have a tool now that will turn that export to PDF.

I'll think how we could do this
