Q: File type limitations

Is there a reason only some file types are allowed as attachments? If none of the files can be previewed or opened in the platform, I'm confused about why there are file type restrictions. For example, we often work with an elearning program called Articulate Storyline (with extension .story), which is used for course authoring, and we often need to track its completion in our projects. Not allowing this file type as an attachment severely limits us. However, there are many other file types that we would like to attach as well but cannot.

The other issue is that there seems to be no way to delete an attachment once added. Can you please add this functionality?

A: Thanks for the question.

Both items have now been addressed: attachments support a wider range of file types, and you can delete attachments from tasks.

For context, you posted this request and then left a review about the same issue within the hour, before our team had a chance to respond. We act on feedback quickly, as this fix shows, but a little time to respond goes a long way.

If any file type is still blocked, let us know and we’ll look into it.

Hope to see you on Syncupp soon.
