Q: I didn't realize that TabExtend was back on AppSumo until I saw it come up in an email.
My question is this:
1) How is it that everyone is not using this already? I show it off to people around me and they can't believe I have so much information easily on hand with every new open tab of Chrome. I take notes, to do lists, links, bookmarks, reminders, and more. I think TabExtend started as a fancy bookmark app, but it has so many incredible features, I feel like I'm living in the future as soon as I open Chrome.
If I had to number each AppSumo LTD in order of how often I use it and how important it is to my daily workflow, TabExtend would be at the very top. There are others that handle critical work, but everything starts with a new Chrome tab, and TabExtend is right there, giving me a workspace to see what I need to do and where I need to go. I can take notes, brainstorm, and much more.
Another question:
Can people from previous AppSumo deals upgrade? I don't think there were as many tiers available when I signed up.
I would ask about security, including encryption, but you gave me a pretty thorough explanation in an email. My understanding is that data is encrypted to the server and on the server with ISO and SOC certifications. Thank you.

May 15, 2024A: Hi Dr Leeds,
Good to see you and thank you for your kind words and encouragement. User engagement, such as yours, has always provided immense motivation and insights ๐.
To the questions:
1). Of course, we ask ourselves a variant of this question as wellโa more modest one: 'How do we get more users?' Our strength lies in design and engineering, so our marketing efforts are the weak link as of now. BTW: If there are any marketers out there looking for a side project, we are all ears!
2) Previous AppSumo buyers can upgrade and add more seats to their team. For example, if you previously had one seat, buying another code would unlock two more seats, and so on (with two more for each code).
3) Yes, security and privacy are immensely important parts of any application, not least a tab/note/reminders manager. Our database is end-to-end encrypted, we run backups twice a day, and our database provider has an uptime of 99,99% + all the certificates like ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, SOC 1-2-3. In marketing terms, you could say the app is battle-tested to the max.
Cheers Dr! ๐ฎ
