UPDATE:
I am updating my review from five tacos to three tacos now that we have fully built out our platform, gone through the app creation process, created courses, and attempted to deploy TagMango. Just that quickly, there is now another tool on AppSumo that exceeds TagMango's capabilities (including ease of implementation).

All of the cons are still challenging. But the biggest issues have been KYC verification and adding users. As a business, TagMango has created major friction for users with the bugs that plague the KYC process. I originally bought licenses for four different brands. However, I had to refund two of them and get a different tool on AppSumo that does not have these issues. I have not been able to get support to address the KYC verification process. Unlike some other Sumolings, I have received responses, just no resolution. This means we cannot sell anything (at least without actually being able to access the money we generate).

Additionally, we cannot add a member manually. They have an invite only integration with Zapier, so if that works for us, we will keep the two license for the community feature and app. We will update this review if we have issues.

If we are not using certain features like courses or workshops, then we should be able to change their visibility to users.

We still see potential value from TagMango based on the communities, courses, and app development - we have successfully gotten our Android app up and running which is appropriate for our nonprofit members around the country (assuming we are successful with adding members via Zapier).

I am a frequent AppSumo purchaser. I have purchased many tools for communities, LMS, and more. TagMango is incredible.

You can setup packages referred to as services and associate specific products such as courses, community access, group coaching, one-on-one consultations, digital products, and more.

The website builder is feature rich and easy to use. I like it better than Grigora, Webstarts, and Lindo.ai. The videos are helpful and we were able to setup the infrastructure for our online offerings in one day. We are still building out the products to attach to services.

The services include an option to create a chatroom for subscribers for private access to specific groups of members who purchased your service - see Advanced Settings for this option.

At the tier 4 level, they do not charge any fees. Since there is no payment gateway such as Stripe or PayPal, you get to keep all of the income you earn. At this tier, you also get a free branded app, which is priceless. At one point, we were using LearnWorlds and paying an additional $299 per month for the same thing.

You can even create a storefront for members so you can sell additional products and services. Although you cannot access the upsell feature with an AppSumo license, this is a great alternative. Additionally, you can create automations with Zapier and Pabbly.

You can create posts that only certain members who purchased a specific a service can see. Although we cannot create channels, this feature seems sufficient to still have messages for distinct users.

Limitations & Requests:
[1] I have never used a platform that segmented access to 100% discount coupons to subscriptions only. I have used OnlineCourseHost, Brilliant Directories, Unschooler, and other payment systems like Zylvie. This is a critical component of being able to get beta or early adopters into communities. I hope they really reconsider this for AppSumo customers. We are looking into creative solutions in the meantime because the platform is great otherwise.
[2] No access to gamification, challenges, or habit tracker - at least there should be an add-on for AppSumo purchasers to address TagMango's concern about additional costs. These features significantly enhance member engagement and it defeats the purpose of a lifetime deal if you have to purchase a subscription with no alternatives to get access.
[3] Although I love the Website Builder and Services Page builder in the Page Builder, there are only two templates. I have seen TagMango videos with more options and hope they will be released to Sumolings.
[4] You can also setup an affiliate program so your members can help recruit other members and financially benefit. However, Sumolings are locked out of this feature. Again, it would be helpful to have an add-on so we can access this feature.

Overall, this is a great tool and there has not been an equivalent product on AppSumo that has been so feature rich and easy to navigate. It seems like there needs to be a Tier 5 with access to the locked features or add-ons that will allow Sumolings access to currently locked features. Despite this, TagMango is worth a try to experience it for yourself for the price - you can always refund if it does not align with your workflow. Sending lots of love, hope, and intentional action.
