Checking my purchases on a weekly basis has become a regular part of my routine. With so many tools disappearing, it's easy to wonder how to avoid wasting money the next time I’m searching for something else.
Disappointing Experience with Tagmate Deal on AppSumo
I bought the Tagmate deal on AppSumo, but the platform suddenly vanished—the website is down, and support is completely unresponsive. Attempts to contact Tagmate and even AppSumo’s support led nowhere, with zero accountability or explanations. It feels like the product just disappeared without warning, leaving customers stranded. I strongly advise against purchasing until there’s proof of life and reliable service. This kind of radio silence is unacceptable.
I have now invested a few hours and realised three website projects. My conclusion so far:
1. i can't define an event and then push it to Google and Facebook. The system is very limited, either you define the event yourself, then it only works for Google Tag Manager or you use a template (you can't define your own events!) to use it for Google Ads or Facebook Ads.
2. the Chrome addon, for example, has no way to track scroll %. I ended up having to define it manually in Google Tag (but now I can do it and all other events without an add-on and without an extra tool).
3. no custom event name can be defined for view events
4. since 2 weeks I have the problem that I cannot set up a created project correctly. A white screen always appears. I have made a video and sent it to the provider by e-mail. Unfortunately no solution so far.
All in all, I'm not sure whether I really need the tool.

Templates poor collection Chrome extension not working even I log in, it also has a terrible connection system.
The support was very responsive and fast and polite... but how can they help when the product isn't there yet?!

Severely limited in the tracking framework

Great Potential
I've full stack this tool and i've tested it.
It has a really great potential and it'll save lots of hours. You've to consider that it's an early stage product, so the development is in process.
One suggestion for the team: please speed up the WooCommerce development. It's not planned yes but it's more important then Shopify integration.
I can't wait the progress of the tool and in the meantime i really appreciate the help that support team is giving. 5 Tacos well deserved!
