I had Taku set up and and working in just over 5 minutes - and that was using the custom launcher - it really is that simple.

The product adds a slide-out notification bar to your entire site (or specific web pages) very much like the notification bar here on Appsumo.

Notification visibility can be configured for a variety of parameters such as user log-on or page which is really useful. However, out of the box Taku shows everyone message view and reaction counts. I was not a fan of this so contacted the team. Guess what? Within a few hours there was a new configuration setting that allows you to control these features. Amazing!

What Taku does, it does very well already. Where Taku will really shine is in a few weeks if the team continues this pace of development. There are lots of features that could be added that will turn Taku into an essential tool for just about any website - I am sure these will come. For example, I gather more features are being released next week.

This is definitely one to get in early and congratulate yourself for doing so. It works great right now but will be an absolute notification powerhouse once the feature list is filled out.
