The UI wording just doesn't make sense at all. It's so hard to do (and find where to do) SIMPLE things.

Ex: There are only a few steps to create a pop-up or modal, etc. But it still takes ages because you have to almost "translate" what things mean in order to know what you're doing.

Other shortcomings, mostly with A/B testing:

1. You can't see ALL your variants LIVE on the site (only in admin area).

2. But you can only view TWO variants (which are called "updates," confusingly). If you have more, you'll just have to trust that they work/will display!

3. You can't TEST the forms in your pop-ups if they're beyond that 2nd screen.

4. You can't DELETE variants (only archive).

5. You can't add select/multi-select fields to your sign-up forms (only text, name, & email).

6. You can't actually TEST your popup on the site itself without making it LIVE.

7. A/B testing variants are called "updates" in some places, "messages" in others, and "variants" in others, making it near impossible to get around confidently.

8. You can't customize colors of slide-ins.

9. Support took OVER TWO WEEKS to reply to a very simple, one-line question.

It seems like this tool was initially written just to post updates to your website, like Appsumo does in its notifications. And then it was (messily) expanded to be a pop-up tool.

This thing has eaten up SO MUCH of my time just trying to figure out basic things. I'm so frustrated with it and the confusing broken English, both from the tool and from support.

I can't recommend this product. I think that, to competently serve a mostly English-speaking market, it's important to display features in plain English **using consistent terms**.

Side bar: How does this tool have ONLY 5-star reviews that tout how easy it is to use... but even the AI summary includes shortcomings? Other small business owners should skip this, unless you want to spend endless time trying to find basic things and wait weeks for support.

Giving it one additional taco just because it IS fast to use once you finally figure out and can remember what everything means, AND if you're using it for a very simple purpose.
