Q: Support Chat ...
Maybe if I explain what happens with our clients that we want to ON-BOARD using Tallyfy ...
1. Client purchases software subscription ...
2. Client is redirected back to our website where they can login to the Software ...
IDEALLY ... Id like to create a CLIENT ON-BOARDING workflow that each client would access.
In the Password Protected members area ... is this even necessary?
Maybe we could get them to access it when they come back to our website after PayPal transaction ... what do think?

Hmm - I would use them as guest users.
18m ago
That might be the way to go mate.
18m ago
Basically they'll receive email notifications based on responsibility and tasks in Tallyfy.
What's important is that you build out the conditionals behind the steps.
So they don't receive everything all at once, but in order.
17m ago
Hmmm .. do you have an example? I tried to load "TEMPLATES" but there's nothing there.
17m ago
Yeah, we're building the ability to import sample templates into your account.
17m ago
Ok ... so we create the workflow/on-boarding Template ... how do people "register" ?
16m ago
So guests don't have to create a Tallyfy account.
They can complete the tasks in their email.
One second - uploading a gif illustrating how to add guests.
Adding a guest.gif
Hmmmm ... that sounds interesting ...
14m ago
They receive an email notifying them of responsibility and they can complete the task in their browser.
13m ago
Can they "REGISTER" themselves or do we have to add each client manually?
12m ago
Right now, you have to add them manually to each step.
The ability to mass assign guest users is coming very soon.
12m ago
Wait a minute ... there's no way for someone to "self-provision" themselves?
What if we have 10-steps ... does that mean we would have to MANUALLY ADD the user to EACH & EVERY Step?
10m ago
Right now, yes.
10m ago
Now I'm confused ... I thought Tallyfy was supposed to make something like on-boarding clients easy & AUTOMATED ... that;s NOT the case if we have to add them to each step EVERY TIME ... this is what you're saying right?
9m ago
Yep, as of right now, it's difficult to assign guest en masse.
That being said, we're creating the ability to do so right now.
8m ago
Is there series of video tutorials or something to see how to on-board a client or a new employee?
7m ago
Currently, there is not.
Do you have your onboarding process documented?
5m ago
Not yet ... we're just learning to navigate around your dashboard ... why do you ask?
4m ago
Easier to implement.
To be honest, if you're onboarding clients, this ability to mass assign guests is going to be huge for you. Without it Tallyfy might create more work than necessary.
I think it's currently geared for routing work between coworkers in an organization.
We've noticed how important it is to refine the guest experience and to make it easier to delegate responsibility to guests.
2m ago
Agreed ... so right now Tallyfy is really no good to us
1m ago
Right now, maybe.
1m ago
Well if we have 100 clients to on-board, then we would have to add them manually ... so I don't see how there is any automation at all.
just now
The ability to power assign guests to processes is coming in March.
You could set up a downstream webhook to automate some of the assignment.
We're releasing a Zapier integration in the coming weeks.

May 15, 2024A: As noted - those features are coming. You need to have a process to make use of Tallyfy as well.
