    Update from Tarvent (Aug 2024)

    Several people have asked about the number of contacts and transactions allowed per tier. The tiers outline the limits. However, if you add payment information to Tarvent, you can enable overages for contacts and transactions. These overages will be billed monthly for the previous month's overages.

    Another common source of confusion is what a transactional email is. A transactional email is sent using our Email API or SMTP API. In either case, it is typically used by those looking to integrate external platforms with Tarvent. Emails such as auto-responders when someone opts in or one-to-one emails sent in a journey are not considered transactional emails and will not count against your transactional email credits.

    Lastly, a transactional credit is used for each email recipient of a transactional email. If you send a transactional email to someone and CC or BCC someone else at the same time, each email address we send to will use a credit.
