Q: Deal Structure Feedback

Some feedback on the deal structure: despite obviously being focused on lifetime deals, I'm not apposed to Annual deals and I like the idea of supporting a more mature product long-term but with a deep discount for our support on Appsumo... however the pricing change after the year is up really does put me off (despite being interested).

This is probably feedback better directed at AppSumo rather than Tarvent... but for me personally, while I would be keen to give a platform like this a try in a deal where the annual price we pay on AppSumo remains the price we continue to pay annually until such time as we cancel (rather than a new pricing arrangement a year from now), as the deal is now I don't think I feel comfortable committing to it.

If the deal structure were to change, then I would definitely reconsider.

A: Thanks so much for your feedback! I completely understand where you're coming from. While I wish we could lock in the 1-year AppSumo price forever, it's just not sustainable given the costs of running a full-featured platform like Tarvent. We designed our pricing to keep your risk low while still maintaining a robust service, and even at retail our prices remain competitive. With the 50% discount, we really believe you're getting a great deal.

We know AppSumo users have high expectations, and we're partnering with them to refine this offer over time. Our platform is trusted by customers in 83 countries, sends millions of emails per month, and even saw a 683% growth last month. We're not perfect—we're always working on improvements—but we're far beyond an MVP and continuously building a product that delivers real value.

I just wanted to share this context so you understand our perspective. Transparency is key for us, and we truly appreciate your understanding as we grow and evolve. Thanks again for your input!

I hope that appsumo subscriptions make up a relative small amount of your customer base. Else not good!

AppSumo is not to make a profit on your product. See it as a marketing strategy. If we like your product more then your competitors, then WE will advice others to use your product! Then comes the profit. And we give valuable feedback.
