Q: GDPR-compliancy and import from ActiveCampaign
Tarvent looks very attractive to me and I would love to give it a try. However, two things bother me:
You have answered elsewhere that you are "somewhat" GDPR compliant but that servers currently are in the US - and that this "might" change in the future. Since I am in no hurry yet to switch from ActiveCampaign to Tarvent - I am really interested in an ETA.
Also, is it possible to sign a Data Processing Agreement?
And as for switching from ActiveCampaign (AC) - is it possible to import data from AC? With data I don't just mean names and email addresses, but tags as well. Tarvent has tagging, hasn't it? Is it also possible to import automations?
After using ActiveCampaign for more than eight years now with hundreds of campaigns and at least 20 active automations you can imagine that switching to Tarvent isn't a decision easily made.

Sep 4, 2024A: I wish we could give an ETA on the EU environment, but I can't. I will never give timelines on something I don't know for a fact, or at least have plans in place and know precisely what it takes. That said, we will work on this and hope to be there by the end of the year.
As for the Data Processing Agreement, I rarely say no. You can send it to support, and we can take a look. There shouldn't be an issue, but then again, some people get very "creative" with their agreements.
As for switching from AC to us, we support contact tags. As for automation, no. However, we can help get them set up. AC's automation tends to be much more complicated than Tarvent to do the same thing. You can head over to https://www.tarvent.com/company/activecampaign-vs-tarvent and look at the image with the slider to see automation with the same functionality and how it looks in Tarvent vs. AC. It's dramatically different because we have features that AC does not, making our automation much easier to manage.
I understand that making a switch, especially after using the same solution for a long time, can be tough. I wish I could just tell you to do it, and you'd feel great about it, but I know it's not that simple. However, we have a great support team that will help make your transition as smooth as possible. Also, our average Customer Lifetime is 10 years, so we must be doing something right.
