I gave this product 5 stars originally nearly 2 years ago. The product was amazing as a Notion alternative. Luckily I did not use it to manage project because it has now changed into some AI agent vibe coding platform and move away from its original purpose.
They should have stuck to what they did best with managing tasks, projects and to-do. They used to release regular videos on YouTube with existing updates and now it just seems some sort of trying to do everything mess. Such a shame to lose what was a great product. Their Discord channel is just flooded with spam.
This app barely has anything to do with the original purpose anymore.
Everywhere a window pops up -> create an app, without the option to disable it.
The purpose has changed.
Basically, I find the features good, but the way Appsumo supporters are treated is really bad.
You can barely use the app without credits anymore and have to buy the almost regular subscription or purchase credits. A small amount of monthly credits would have been fair, but setting them completely to 0 reveals the makers' goal at Taskade. You have to keep buying.
Bait and Switch. No direction. I feel Scammed by Taskade.
I was an early supporter of this app and have watched it detract from its primary mission of Task Management to devolve into absolute AI Slop with no direction. The founder of this app never had a clear roadmap of where this product is going. Even though I had a lifetime deal they broke their own terms and now they’re forcing us to buy AI credits just to use the dang app we already paid hundreds for.
We paid for what you promised: UNLIMITED AI agents. Period. but your silly loophole now is us AppSumo users can’t use ANY of our AI “unlimited” agents without paying every single month? What was the point of ever promising Unlimited AI agents to Lifetime deal holders if you goal all along was to lock their functionality behind a subscription? Deceptive behavior from Taskade.
If you were building with Taskade, these greedy corporate people just broke all your hard work, your whole project just so they can make a dollar. AND they just raised the price of AI credits as an extra slap in the face. This is how you reward your earliest supporters? What a joke. I’m done with these bait-and-switches by SaaS companies on AppSumo. Would give 0 tacos if I could!
I must say this was a good one. I know there are a lot of PM tools out there, and while I have yet to integrate this with a team, I have found it very fun to use. A lot going on so I'm still learning the UX/UI but I like where their head is at. If this comes back to Appsumo, I'd recommend you jump on it. Glad I went to a higher tier. Just the different views for your project is fun and productively useful for learner/user types. Hope this company makes it.

Changing of the goal posts - LTD cancelled!
Taskade removed Ai agents and knowledge base, I spent 100s of hours compiling.
I've used Taskade since 11/2022, it was a lifetime deal LTD and fantastic.
Today, 03 April 2026 I wanted to build a website and was prompted to purchase credits.
This is disgusting behaviour I've noticed from other LTDs as well.
**Everything listed below got removed, but used to be included since Day 1 purchase**:
* Taskade AI
* Unlimited AI agents
* Automations
* Train agents with my data.
* Password-protected sharing
* Removed Taskade branding
* Connect 100+ integrations
I already have a Google Gemini subscription, why will pay for Taskade as well when I already bought the LIFETIME deal?

Love when a good one comes along!
