Better than I initially thought

I really wanted to give this a negative review but I can't. :)

Why did I want to leave a negative review? Because when I first tested it, I thought it was terrible. There was so much visual clutter and I need a PM/Organizer Tool for FOCUS, not colors and icons and backgrounds and underlines that clutter the canvas so much my eye can't settle on what I want ... the items to organize and accomplish.

My first impression - Taskade is a child's toy, not a business tool was wrong.

I'm leaving this review because I want like-minded people to give this software a chance - it turns out you can turn off a lot of that mess! Also I wanted to give feedback.

There are still UX issues all over the place. For instance:
1. Once you set a project highlight (ugly color underline that takes your attention away), you can't remove it - at least not as far as I can see.
2. Every Project requires an icon (attention getter, which MIGHT help you organize - but text is enough!). If you don't set an icon, an "empty page" icon is given to you as default. More clutter. The clutter becomes even more serious and takes up room on a phone screen.
3. The sidebar is confusing. For instance, the folder structure in the workspace view has no indication of hierarchical structure workspace->folder->project->task
4. In fact, tasks have been given its own "tab" which puts in with equal importance with "projects". Okkk.... But when you click on Home->Projects you see all projects. When you click on Home->Tasks, you only see tasks assigned to you. There's a filter button - but it doesn't work... it still only shows assigned tasks whether it's cleared or not.
5. Speaking of the filter button. It is placed directly under the tabs ... so it has an entire line to itself, including margins. That takes up valuable vertical real estate "above the fold". It's also more visual clutter where I expect "business data" to be. There's plenty of space on the right side of the screen, in line with the tabs.
6. Speaking of assignments - I get that some people like to see their own face... but again, it's visual clutter and it takes up real estate. I'd love to see an option to turn that off. On a busy project, I might see my own face 20 or more times. I don't need to see that! And neither do my team mates!
7. On the mobile application, there's a menu item entitled "Projects". It's under "Shared with me" but it's the FIRST thing I want to click. When I open my app, I want to see my projects. What text would I click on? Well That "Projects" menu item is only for shared with me. That's logical - but UX?
8. There's no good landing page. On desktop, but especially on mobile. On mobile, the landing "page" is the sidebar menu. On desktop, there's no good, intuitive, organized view of all projects. That's almost a dealbreaker. When I open a (productivity) app, I want to be immediately productive. I don't want to go through some menu system to get at the information I need. <no space left to typ
