Q: Regarding the tier features and pricing of Task Magic, I have several questions: Cloud Computing Hours: ...
I see that Tier 5 includes 6 hours of cloud computing time. Does this mean Tiers 1-4 do not include any cloud computing hours? If so, do users in these tiers need to purchase cloud computing hours separately to utilize Task Magic's full functionality?
Workflow Automation: Are Tiers 1-4 capable of running workflow automation without purchasing additional cloud computing hours, or is this functionality dependent on having cloud computing time?
Functionality and Usage: Which specific functionalities of Task Magic, such as self-hosted web automation run times or app automation workflow run times, count against the "cloud computing hours"? Additionally, is it possible for users to self-host Task Magic?
Allocation and Usage: Are the 6 hours of cloud computing time allocated per workspace or per account?
Cloud Server Specifications: Could you provide the specifications of the cloud server? For example, are we looking at a setup equivalent to multiple Raspberry Pis, or something more robust like a server with 24 vCPUs, 120 GB of RAM, and NVMe drives?
Value of Cloud Computing Add-on: What specific benefits does the cloud computing add-on provide that justify its cost, especially considering the significant price increase from Tier 4 when combined with the proxy IP add-on?
Proxy IP Details: Can you specify the type of proxy IP included in the add-on (e.g., residential, mobile, rotating ISP, shared data center, or dedicated data center)? Can users choose the type of proxy and its country of origin? Are there any bandwidth limitations imposed on the proxy use? Considering the cost of residential proxies is about $4/GB, if I were to use 1 GB per month that would be about $48, what is the distinct value added over for tier 5 over tiers 1-4 without cloud computing included, assuming tiers 1-4 are still granted the same functionality of workflow automation? Are those tiers limited in workflow run time since they have no cloud computing hours associated with their license?

May 26, 2024A: This is a lot lol. But here goes:
Cloud hours are only included on the tier 5 here on AppSumo, but we have been allowing an upgrade in a reasonable timeframe if you get tier 4 on AppSumo.
The cloud hours are allocated between all automations, not per workspace.
Yes you can self host it if you so choose ;) if you run automations on cloud all automations count toward your hours. You can choose to run on desktop still yet though.
Cloud server specs: no idea lol. I’m non technical and I don’t get into the specs of it on a per account basis. I think someone has set it up on a raspberry pi
The value of cloud? Lol. I guess it’d be how much you value running on cloud? Do you want to keep your computer plugged in and on to run automations or not. It’s more ease of friction and how you value it.
I’m going to tell you that you’re more technical than I am straight up. LOL. I’ve never asked these questions before buying something that has a 60 day money back guarantee haha. Just try it. Appsumo refunds you if you’re not happy. It’s a stellar deal. I know that bc I hate the 60 day refund policy. But lastly the proxy is a residential proxy with unlimited bandwidth per month and we manually rotate it for you once ;)
No matter what I do I cannot get TaskMagic to set up an automation from desktop. I'm on Tier 1. Whenever I try to set up an automation I am forced to the webapp and required to purchase cloud hours. The only access I can find to direct help is by paying for access to the skool community. This doesn't sound right so I am concerned that I'm missing something. I confirm that my purchase is activated
Write into support at taskmagic dot com.
Also the community is not paid right now. So go in there ;) Please check it again
Thanks Jeremy. I can see you just opened the community - literally I checked right before sending the AppSumo message. Grateful for your quick response. Btw, If I understand right you are in WeHo. I'm in Woodland Hills and would be happy to do a meet-up the next time you do something.
