An update since you wrote this: TaskMagic was acquired by Napkin Labs, and Kyle led a full rebuild. V2 went live in June. The apps builder you're describing is still there, and it now sits on the same canvas as browser automation, so app steps and browser steps live in one workflow. Your tier carried over at no cost.

If you liked the pace of updates before, the last few months have been the biggest push the product has had.
