5/5 Stars – A Must-Have Tool in Any WordPress Workflow
TasteWP is more than just a testing tool—it’s a productivity booster. The free features are fantastic for casual users or quick testing, while the premium tier is a must-have for professionals who need a flexible, powerful, and branded environment to work in or share with clients.
I recently started using TasteWP, and I have to say—it’s been a total game-changer for anyone working with WordPress. Whether you're a developer, designer, or just experimenting with plugins or themes, TasteWP offers an incredibly convenient and efficient way to spin up a WordPress site in seconds. Creating a test WordPress environment is almost instant. No complicated setup, no waiting around. Just click and go. It’s completely free to start, and you don’t even need to register to create a temporary site. This makes it perfect for quick plugin/theme tests or demos. The dashboard is simple and intuitive, making test site management effortless, even for beginners. You can choose from PHP versions, WordPress versions, and even pre-load specific plugins. It's surprisingly flexible for a free tool. For a temporary test environment, the performance is quite impressive. Pages load fast, and everything runs smoothly.

Very easy to use and a good experince so far!
It was super easy to spin up a wp install inside TasteWP, I also added my own domain, no problems, all worked perfect and fast and SSL was added automatically.
Very good experince so far.
Im having a slight issue with Malcare, that is flagging something in the WPinstall files, but im sure that will be fixed or maybe they can reach to Malcare? Im sure Malcare would happily work together on this.
But again, great experince so far, and the TasteWP seem to be very responsive and active.

A very good platform for testing and hosting your site.
I've been using TasteWP for about a month. I can say that the hosting is fast, and the one-click WP installation is great. I also spoke with Marina - a team member from TasteWP, who was very responsive and well-informed technically. I期待 the team to continue their good work in maintaining their product.

Uneven Experience
August 24, 2025, update: I initially had a good experience and gave five stars. I did not have success in moving my Backup Migration plugin (produced by the same company that offers TasteWP, Inisev), but the TasteWP team helped move it. I was grateful, especially because I was leaving SiteGround, which had become increasingly robotic with support and beset with skyrocketing prices, in favor of a hosting plan offering an outstanding deal.
The website didn't look fully right, and I thought I would need to update theme and plugin licenses for it to match its previous look. I didn't have time for three months to touch it, however, as I was in the thick of moving nine other websites off the dreaded WordPress. As of today, search functionality is missing, and shortcode is broken sitewide. It's unclear whether this broken shortcode is connected to the Backup Migration-saved website or because the shortcode developer caused errors with an update.
In the past several weeks, my experience went south. When I was ready to go live on TasteWP after my SiteGround terms ended, my email was supposed to have been sent to a team member, but this person, weeks later, after I wrote support asking for an update, acknowledged he didn't read the email fully and understand that he had tasks connected to it. Eventually, some things were fixed and other tasks remained, and then, just like before, my email went unaddressed as I went back into the dark.
This weekend, August 23 and 24, my website, still riddled for six weeks with "s5-tastewp" in permalinks (TasteWP was to help with this as far back as July 18), went down at about 4 p.m. Saturday (and remained offline the rest of the day) and was down for five hours Sunday. Other shorter outages have been happening daily for two weeks. With all the problems, my website slipped off top rankings for my own brand name. Crushing for a 732-post website with more than 1 million words of content!
I wrote support again. This time, I got a fast response. A team member promptly fixed the permalink issue. The Inisev owner, Nick, emailed right away, explaining that new measures were put into place to prevent future outages.
It's really been an up-and-down experience. Some very good, and some very bad. I hope it can be better moving forward.

Fit my needs perfectly
I initially purchased Tier 1 and quickly upgraded to Tier 2 for a bit more flexibility. I can’t say anything other than that this is exactly what I was looking for. The sites are created super quickly and run fast. Perfect for staging sites, blueprint sites, and setting up temporary sites to test things out. No more creating subdomains or burdening my own server.
I most definately recommend it.
