Q: Barely Working

Whenever I see Mr. Redman featured on AppSumo, I can't help but grab my wallet. However, I must express my disappointment with Tavolo—it's plagued with bugs.
Attachments fail to load, fields don't retain their sequence when relocated, the Kanban view appears blank, and there are numerous other issues.
While it's marketed as an affordable alternative to Airtable, its useless if half-baked. What does the future in the short term look like for Tavolo?

A: Hahaha Konrad! Thanks! I’m telling you I said this to myself…”this is the most solid thing we’ve launched AT THE TIME of launch” I said that just yesterday as I was QAing it. Can you send me a video? I’ll take a look for you! So there’s only a slight disconnect I think that might be easy to resolve on our end ;) if you can send me a video with your email address so I can check your account…I can take a look support at hellotavolo dot com. I’ll check! Also in the short term..it’s resolving simple thing like this. Long term. It’s our go to database solution for the entire lazy stack!!

Im learning from other comments, this is not even full version of OSS NocoDB. Please avoid Tavolo like plague and use nocodb.com for full feature access.

ta1chcPLUS

do you have any plan on appsumo like tier 6 ?

I see you created an account recently to post these comments. Very illuminating to hear from the OSS source. Do you have other channels we can follow for your input?

Also, I'm not sure if you saw, but there might just be lots of interest in NoCodeDB here on AppSumo. Would love to see you guys on here.

Hey Naveen, can you answer my queries below , directed to you

BLabsPLUS

Naveen, You’ve called others’ forks “watered-down,” but your own self-hosted Community Edition is also limited compared to your SaaS.
If you truly want to promote open source adoption and empower no-coders, shouldn’t you:
-Release the full version for self-hosting. But if your own OSS version is limited, what moral ground is there to criticize others for the same? You dont even have a firm pricing

BLabsPLUS

Naveen, Will you openly commit to publishing the full version for self-hosting, with clear terms and transparency? & why you think your nocodb is superior to supabase oss ? why should i use your waterdown version ?
