There's room for improvements

Having used other paid DMARC tools, I'd say there's nothing unique about Kdmarc that makes them stand out from the crowd. However in their defense, DMARC tools are limited to DMARC functionality and there's little room a provider can be unique here, except for making the setup process easier for the user, beautifying the dashboard and reports.

They do have all the basic tools and reporting option to troubleshoot or understand your email delivery. And their dashboard is OK, nothing to complaint about. Personally I feel the UI can be improved. But, am not going to rate them based on the looks and colours they currently using because at the end of the day, looks are subjective and every individual would have a different preference.

Their main dashboard covers all the info that you would expect to see as soon as you login. However, the widgets on their main dashboard are not modular, .i.e. you cannot add/remove or change position of your preferred reporting widgets. It would be awesome if they introduce this flexibility in future updates, from a UX perspective.

Unfortunately, I have experienced a small issue with Kdmarc. I added couple of domains and it seems like email stats from one of my domains are showing up on a different domain. In addition to that, the graphs in the main dashboard shows some failed emails but none of the other reports in kdmarc shows any failed emails. My assumption is because the stats of one domain is somehow being added to another domain, kdmarc is seeing failed validation due to domain mismatch and adding them as failed email entries. On the positive side, when I raised a support ticket explaining the incorrect stats, they were relatively quick to respond to the ticket and currently working on it to figure out what's causing this.

If someone is new to DMARC reporting, the incorrect stats may throw them off the rail. I hope its an isolated event just with my account/domains.

One tool that I really liked, is their Smart SPF feature. Unfortunately, going through other comments here I've learned this tool is free for the first 60 days only. :(

Initially, I wanted to rate 3/5 tacos. However, considering the price we are paying for Kdmarc at AppSumo, I can confidently say this service is bang on and not to be missed. Its a good value for money. Yes, there's certainly room for improvements. But you won't find any similar DMARC tool set provider as cheap as Kdmarc through AppSumo. Personally, I feel every business domain owner should try out Kdmarc.

Final rating: 4/5 tacos.
