This announcement is here to communicate all the new features and benefits you’ve got in Team-GPT over the summer.

Features and Benefits

Major UX/UI Updates

Better layout: Updated the header, workspace management, user profile. Read more.
Chats panel: We’ve updated the whole left and right panel to be… simply amazing! You can now manage new conversation creation, prompt template creation, action confirmation directly from the panel. Read more.
Views: We’ve added several different views that encapsulate the most important things you want to see: General, By People, Recent, Favorites. Read more.
General view: Contain both the shared and personal spaces. That’s where you will find folders, subfolders, and all the stuff you love Team-GPT for. Read more.
By People view: Contains all the chats in the workspace that you have access to, ordered by the person who had the chat. Great when you know who had the chat but can’t find it. Read more.
Recent view: The view you are used to in ChatGPT. No organization just your conversations, ordered by date. Read more.
Favorite view: All chats that you have starred (marked as favorite) would show there. Read more.
New onboarding flow: Doesn’t really matter to you but maybe for those you tell about Team-GPT! Also new team members will go through it. Read more.
Participant list added to sidebar: Our sidebar chat lists will now show the names of all participants, giving you a clear view of who's involved in each conversation. Read more.

Organization

Improved General sections: Separate sections for Shared and Personal chats. Remove the different views and allowed users to control this from General view. Read more.
Archive: Added an Archive section in the general view. Whenever you don’t want to see a conversation, you can simply add to archive. Not ready for deletion yet but just gets in the way -> send to archive.
Subfolder support added: Now you can nest folders inside other folders. This helps you organize your work much better. Read more.
Favorites: Added capability to favorite a single chat and easily find it. Read more.
Color coded folders: Using the dots menu, you can now personalize folders with various hues, making it easier to spot and differentiate them. Read more.
Auto-archive Empty Chats: Clean your workspace effortlessly as empty chats will now be auto-archived after 48 hours.

Chat Improvements:

Advanced search in conversations: You can now search in the entire conversation content and not only chat names. Read more.
Updated sharing: Share any conversation with as many people as you want. Control wither they have view or edit access. Share your best conversations with anyone on the Internet. Read more.
Improved chat forking: Forking a conversation will create a new conversation in the same folder with an editable name starting with ‘Fork of …’. Read more.
Chat renaming possible for admins: Admins can now rename chats that are not theirs. Read more.
Edit the Last Message: Clicking the 'arrow up' in the chat input now allows you to edit the last message, further enhancing your user experience. Read more.

Workspace settings

Control over personal chats: Allow or forbid personal chats in your workspace. Either everyone can have personal chats or no one. Read more.
Improved OpenAI API key management: We've revamped the flows for adding, clearing, and testing the OpenAI API Key. Read more.
Edit system prompt of organization: You can now edit the system prompt on a per workspace basis, allowing for greater customization and relevance. Read more.
Fine-grained API key control: Admins can now enable an option that asks each member to have a personal API key, rather than share the same key across the organization. Read more.

Prompt library

Controlled prompt editing: Members can only edit their own prompts, while admins can edit everyone’s prompts. Read more.
Play button for instant prompt use: Click the play button to use a prompt template directly from the right panel (works when in a chat). Read more.

Other

Enhanced browsing capabilities: While this feature is still experimental, we’ve added a bit of our own prompting experience behind the scenes to provide better results. Read more.
Automatic Reloads for New Deployments: The app will reload to make sure you are fetching the newest version of the app. Read more.
Upgraded mobile version of the app: Ensured a seamless experience on all popular devices. Read more.
Extended browser support: We've enhanced compatibility with older browsers to ensure a seamless experience for all users, regardless of their choice of browser. Read more.
