This 5 Taco Product was Sold as Seats, and now they plan to change it --- And a pricing change with a possible "Credits" approach.

Yesterday afternoon, Team GPT (Juma.ai) sent out a mass email about an imminent change to their system, aside from the recent, very well-done rebranding to Juma.ai. The change was about their pricing and removing the "Seats" part of things -- which we invested in here with our purchases.

As of yet, I have not seen an update as to how this will affect AS purchases and license holders.

This system is fantastic, and I am very glad I invested in it; however, moving to a paid model is not really what I had bought into. How do you plan to handle this for everyone here?

They sent out a survey in this email; you may have also got it recently. I am eager and curious to know the fate of our purchases before filling out the survey that was sent. Search your email for "Juma Pricing Changes: We need your input before we do it," if you would like to see it. And the qualifying words "BEFORE WE DO IT," make it a pretty final type of decision on their end.

I again want to reinforce that this is a top-level product. I really just do not want it to turn into a freemium product where we now have to spend money on credits, and the user seats we bought and secured for ourselves are invalidated. I am not against a one-time fee to maintain, or help with the value exchange they have proven so far. Especially if we can bring in clients and rope them off into their own areas, allowing them to use our API connections and maybe even help provide billing or tracking for API usage from the main vendors. (just a thought)

Juma is a five-star product; I am very happy with my purchase and with the over-the-top effort this company has put into this system. I am fearful it will turn into a monthly billing or credit purchase situation, which is exactly why I bought this product in the first place: to avoid that in the future. Now it seems the very thing I tried so hard to avoid is in this product's short-term future.

As a sidenote: AppSumo is trash, and they will not publish my review because an AI BOT says it is not good enough, and that since I am speaking about issues, I should then deem it a lower rating than 5 tacos. You can't make this stuff up, and this is exactly why we will not spend any more money at AppSumo and likely never will. Sorry, but my review is pretty clear about why I still gave it a 5-taco review.
