Q: I bought 2 codes for this in the hope that it develops into something that more completely suits my needs.
The lack of a web portal critically limits accessibility for me - I use only a PC and neither have nor use a mobile phone or any other connected mobile device but instead routinely use connected equipment that I don't own for emailing and work etc.
While I understand the rationale behind not having this (security) surely a web portal of sorts could be implemented in such a way as to minimize any loss of security - for example, would it be possible to provide ephemeral access to emails via a web portal? I mean, without loading and storing all emails for access any time could a temporary index (of date/time, senders and subject lines etc) be loaded and any email the user clicks to view be loaded for viewing and replying but not "stored" as such - like stored temporarily and then deleted upon logging out? If the system can regenerate the account on a new machine then I can't see why this couldn't be done.
A solution like the above could also solve the major problem of any email being sent to a non-telios account (eg. gmail, hotmail etc) being unencrypted as a solution could be implemented with the same framework, similar to what Tutanota do when they let users send encrypted emails to any recipient - the recipient clicks a link to view the encrypted email on Tutanota's servers.
If you can solve these two issues I think you'd have a definite winner here.
I'm keen on your thoughts as to whether or not this is something you can and would do as both these issues could be dealbreakers for me.
Thanks!

May 14, 2024A: While one of the reasons we decided to forgo a web portal was the security, another major factor in that decision was that peer-to-peer and some of the encryption libraries were not compatible with web browsers.
We know a lot more now than when we started, and it is technically possible to load your account in a web browser. If you're familiar with Metamask, it would be a similar process where we would need to create browser extensions that could sync with your account on your device.
This isn't currently on our roadmap but could be in the future.
Can you please enable ledger instead of metamask for security reasons?
This isn't currently on the roadmap, so no determination have been made.
