Q: Wasn’t able to get the proxy working for LinkedIn even after watching your YT video and reading the blog post.
The LinkedIn spice using proxy is failing.
Wrote to support but no answer. Can you please update your documentation so that you describe how to configure Proxymesh?
Also some bugs I saw like the chrome extension isn’t picking up cookies / working. Nothing happens when you click the extension.
Questions in setting up Proxymesh:
1. You need to add your own IP in their dashboard. Anything else? Do I keep their “free” proxies checked or just select the one nearest to me?
2. Do we need to configure chrome to get proxy working?
3. Is the proxy only “live” when the “on” button is pressed in TexAu or does Proxymesh run all your traffic through their servers? Some of the website I frequent verify via my IP so I don’t want that affected.
Thanks.

May 15, 2024A: Hi Sumoling 👋
I'm sorry to hear that about proxy issues. It can be complicated to understand in the beginning. I'm very disappointed you didn't get the response from support, we received over 800+ queries in the last two and trying to respond to everyone. I'm very sorry. 🙏🙇♂️
Chrome extension is working for everyone. When you download the extension, just refresh the page once and click on the button twice -> This detects the extension and also change the button to "Get cookie"
Let's me explain everything about ProxyMesh.
Please select the nearest location possible on ProxyMesh and get a $10 / month plan. Once you have proxy ready on ProxyMesh, please visit TexAu and do the following steps.
1. Go to accounts -> Proxy tab -> Add proxy
2. In proxy name => Give your proxy a good name
3. In proxy URL => type "http://" and then your proxy URL that you have on ProxyMesh. [⚠️ Don't add 'https" for ProxyMesh ⚠️ ]
4. In username and Password => Type proxyMesh username and password.
5. Click "Test Proxy", it should show you the location, once done, click "Add proxy" button.
Now coming to your questions,
1. You just need to add the nearest proxy that you found on ProxyMesh on TexAu. On each automation you will see a switch -> "Use Proxy" simple enable that switch and select proxy.
2. You don't need to configure anything in chrome.
3. The proxy will be only used when you enable that switch on each automation while running. This will keep the usages minimum for you.
Hope this helps. Very sorry for the delayed response. It shouldn't happen next time. We have received tremendous love, feedback and, suggestions from Sumolings and I'm very sorry for the delayed response.
Let me know if you need more information.
Cheers,
Vikesh
