Crazy complicated proxy stuff for newbies
OK, I really hate leaving one taco but I had really high hopes for this and I kind of feel that the whole proxy thing should be easier. This is crazy hard to get up and running. I just had to schedule a call with my proxy account manager to get my trial activated just so I can test out textau. I'm almost at the point of just giving up completely. This should be easier. How? I have no idea. It just should.

I'm sorry that you had to go through all the proxy stuff.
Actually, proxies are recommended but not mandatory. So you should be able to run automations even without proxies. In general scraping on any platform, if are scraping data from social media platforms, proxies are generally recommend to hide cloud server location.
It is something we **recommend** to add extra layer on top of all the measures we have in place. There are over 80+ automation where we don't recommend usually proxies.
