Q: I understand that AppSumo is aware of the requirement from Texta.
ai for lifetime, unlimited subscribers to post reviews in order to upgrade to the latest version. I find it completely unreasonable to expect early adopters to go through such hoops just to update to the newest version. I've been attempting to reach out to their support for several days now, but I have not received a single response from the company. However, their email reminders to post a review to upgrade have been consistently sent to my inbox. Now, I don't have a problem providing an honest review on the product, highlighting both the positives and negatives, but it is truly absurd to enforce this as a prerequisite for upgrading. These are just my thoughts on the matter. So, my question is simple - what is the status of this ongoing issue with Texta?

We couldn't agree more, and this is one of the reasons that offering review incentives, or worse tying them to future updates, is strictly against AppSumo's Partner Terms and Partner Community Policy.
The Texta.ai team has confirmed that they'll suspend this campaign and ensure that all customers receive the updates they deserve regardless of whether a review has been left.

I agree - never used trust pilot or this G2 thing and now i get all this spam from them. I too have reached out to support and not one email back from them
