Q: Hola Sumo-lings!

This is Mirza, COO and Project Manager of Textnock.

I also wanted to add that Textnock also offers integration for Zapier. You will be able to integrate over 2000+ apps with Textnock using Zapier by following instructions outlined here: https://textnock.com/zapier.

Let me try to answer few questions you might have about Textnock.

What are “Local Number Supported” countries?

At present, we are able to provide private local numbers for 7 countries and we refer to these 7 countries as “Local Number Supported” countries. They are US, Canada, UK, Australia, Brazil, Poland and China.

What are “Global Outbound” countries?

Users from over 150+ countries will be able to use Textnock to send SMS in bulk to their target audience. However, we are only able to offer private local numbers for only 7 of these countries.
The rest of the countries will be able to send SMS using Textnock’s “Global Outbound” feature, which allows users from non-Local Number Supported countries to send SMS through a custom Sender ID or Alphanumeric ID.

Are there any charges associated with providing private local numbers?

In Textnock, we express your outstanding balance in terms of Credits. For US, Canada and UK, there are no Credit charges for the issuance of private local numbers.
For Australia, Brazil and Poland, there is a one-off charge of 500 credits will be deducted and a monthly recurring charge of 500 credits will be deducted from the 2nd month onward.
For China, the one-off charge is 2250 credits and the monthly recurring charge is 2250.

Q: To those seeking support: FWIW, late August / Early September I got reasonably prompt support from Textnock on 2 occasions.

textnock@gmail.com was their reply address (being a generic gmail address concerned me).

I've been automating 1000+ various SMS's from them per month, daily via Zapier without a single hiccup.

Hope they can get it sorted for you - because currently, I'm a happy customer

Q: I purchased this product 2 weeks ago and stacked 3 credits on it.

I cannot figure out how to get assigned a phone number and send a campaign. I have not been able to use it at all. When I try to submit a request to Support, it says "page not working." I am seeing a lot of red flags with these guys, and a lot of complaints... perhaps it was too early to launch this deal with them. I am not sure if they have the bandwidth to handle the requests, or if the product is not fully built out yet. Any help is appreciated!

Q: I bought and redeemed on 21, Aug, and I used all of credit right away.

Today is 24, Sep, my credit has not reset. It should be reset once a month since it is LTD.
And also, I can not see the redeemed history on Textnock's website, which makes me feel not safe.

Does anyone have the same problem? I sent email to ask their support team 2 days ago, but no reply so far.
Or should I just refund before it is too late?
Could Appsumo ask the founder instead all your buyer may ask for refund?
Does anyone find your credit reset successfully?

Q: Hi Since last two weeks I am waiting for Textnock Team to reply me.

I have filled contact form twice and one time i even sent you email but no reply from your side.
I am waiting to get started. I have also applied appsumo code on your website but I did not got any number as well as no welcome email from Textnock so far from last weeks.

2)Does your 'scheduling' feature support reoccurring texts?
i.e 'sent on 1st day of every month', or 'send every Friday' etc?

It gave a number that's within my country but I would prefer to have a more localized number.

Q: if i get 6 codes, i will only be able to send 3500 sms messages per month to brazil?

If this is really the case, I suggest that you increase it, it is not viable for our market in Brazil, it is very little for the value, we pay much cheaper here.

Q: 1.

Zapier issue,
Zapier + Textnock not workable.
Zapier said it pass data to Textnock successfully, but Textnock did
not send SMS.
I recently investigated a lot on SMS automation with my auto responder system (Activecampaign).
Since Textnock is LTD deal (in Appsumo), it means to send SMS in long term almost no cost.

But it still cost Zapier's Zap to send SMS. Which is not cheap, 1 Zap's cost = 20USD(month fee) /1000=0.02USD.
And I need 2 Zap (0.04USD) to send a single SMS. (see here https://zapier.com/shared/8d6d34a6f0d1b775c164c06eeaae8f4d21ba36dc )

I found a better way to send SMS via Textnock + Activecampaign (and any other auto responder system, like Awber or Getresponse or Mailchimp).
Which is Email2SMS.
Auto responder can send a notification to SMS's specific email address, and then SMS system (like Textnock) will send a SMS directly.

I think you know Email2SMS technology, please consider that.
Which is better than Zapier integration and it can been trigger by autoresponder’s notification email easily.

FYI: google "Email2SMS"

2. Since I can use Excel uploading function to send custom SMS with name inside. I think personalize function is not so important.
Please put Email2SMS in a higher priority.
(also, if email2sms works, then personalization is not important anymore)

**I think the a lot of Sumo-ling use this kind auto responder. If you provide this service and function, I think there will more people buy your product. **

3. Question,
I would like to invest more Appsumo's code on Textnock.
Will you increase the credit vs SMS's rate in the future?
Will you bankrupt after Appsumo's 60 day money back period?

Please let me know.

I am afraid you can not afford the LTD's cost and close your service in a short time.

Q: I just need clarification on a few items: I am correct that we are not able to have people opt-in for ...

receiving messages from us and submit their number during the process.

Is it true that any message we send USA/CA to USA/CA would not be compliant to US laws regarding sending bulk texts?

I am I to understand that unused credits do not roll over so we are purchasing now and losing those credits till the time that you fix these 2 problems(Hopefully in the very near future).

Very interested in your service but these items seem to be big deal killers for anyone trying to be 100 percent compliant in the USA.

Q: How many SMS messages per minute are sent from each account?

I understand you are selling long numbers that are not shared. What if another customer gets shut down or blocked by the mobile network providers? Will this affect my service?

I trust you will be adding opt-out and opt-in capability in order to be compliant with US law. When that is done, will those transactional messages count towards the monthly credit limit?
