TextUnited WordPress plugin

Translate your WordPress website in just a few clicks and start localizing your site content in a matter of minutes!

With the WordPress plugin, you can access the overlay editor, translation memory, and terminology technology, which improve the linguistic consistency of translated content.

Use the overlay editor directly on your website for light editing and site previews. You'll also have the option to browse the source site and synchronize content.

You can switch to the full editor to translate segments like meta tags and descriptions and even track the progress of your translation tasks.

The full editor allows you to enter your translation with suggestions from previous translations and the glossary.

Full editor dashboard

Keep track of segment status, comments, and overall translation progress in the full editor.

TextUnited not only helps you bring easy translation to your website, but it also lets you offer multilingual customer support with the Zendesk integration.

Q: Hi Dino, I was gonna upgrade before the deal ends (only less than 2 hours left...)

, but the problem below concerns me and discourages me from upgrading.... Could you please help me look into what might have happened?

1. I used 1.75K source words to translate two webpages and two images, but the translation didn’t show up on the Project” and “memory”. Therefore, I'm not able to pull up code to paste the javascript snippet, neither could I see any translation in my account or my site ....

2. I already installed TextUnited WP plugin and entered all setting and API, selected the language & flag translation button to display in the menu, but it’s not there; I don’t see translation button anywhere on the website I manage.

Did I miss any step, or there's technical glitches....? (I hope I could still get the upgrade if you don't get to see this post before the deal ends....)Thank you.

Q: Would TextUnited be suitable for translating custom fields in Custom Post Types created using Pods in WordPress?

I'm specifically thinking about translating content for the WP REST API JSON feed to an app that would select different languages.

Would each language be selectable in the app using a different base URL unique for each language?

Q: Question, I would be very interested in this...

looking to give it another go..

1. Can I store translations, to pull again as needed (does that cost more credits)

2. If I do machine learning and have my copywriter go in and correct the copy... does the machine learning "AI" learn these corrections to improve the translations for next time?

3. Do yiu have the option to set the tone of the AI when translating. Like playful, Business, etc... As some languages have different copy based on who you are speaking with you can say the same thing in different ways. Example in Korean you have three levels at which you speak. Above you (elders, boss, management, business) at your level (friends, co-workers, etc) beneath you (kids, lower class etc)

5. Ideally I wpuld like this to become a resource where I can slowly wean away from having to need a translator and have this be my localization tool.

6. What languages do your translators offer?

A: Hi Saas_scout

I would be very interested in this... looking to give it another go..

1. Yes, when you translate and complete a project, the translations are saved to your translation memory. Already translated content will not be counted in new projects.

2. Anything that is re-used from the translation memory in a project and then changed, it's saved again. You will have both versions available as proposals, while the newest version of the translation will be used automatically.

3. No this option is not available. Although you could achieve this by separating your translation memories and terminology into such categories.

5. Text United is a translation management system. By translating your content and completing projects, you will save it to your translation memory. These translations are reused for future translation projects. In addition to that you can always translate content with machine translation and correct it.

6. What languages do your translators offer?
- If you are referring to our paid translation service we can translate it into any language combination that you want. You can see a list of available languages here:

Q: Hi, I've read the help document on https://help.

textunited.com/seo-settings-for-website and was wondering if the EN translation for www.mywebsite.com/about-us/ to DE www.mywebsite.com/de/about-us/ can be changed to www.mywebsite.com/de/uber-uns/ as this would be the right translation.

What I mean basically "about-us" should be "uber-uns" in the URL structure. Does the plugin takes care of this or is this feature not there yet? (Deal breaker)

A: Hi,

If you are going to use the plugin, you can change (translate) the URLs once a new project is created using the plugin. Open the translation project in MY TASKS, you will have an additional package containing all the URLs from the project where you can translate the URL slugs.
