7 months and still not thete
I bought MagicBookifier back in May 2022 based on its promise to be able to convert 1 hour + podcast episodes into non-fiction eBooks.
Eight months and many, many promised deadlines missed and the tool is still unable to accept any inputs that produce transcripts longer than 30,000 characters or produce output that isn’t overly flowery. Unfortunately, along the way that dev team have become quite hostile to any feedback that draws attention to the fact that the functionality promised hasn’t been delivered. There are serious questions about whether it ever will.
This was a purchase I was exceptionally excited about but at this stage, it doesn’t do what it promised to. If you’re are happy with the functionality that doesn’t butt up against input limits, then it’s solid though still demands a fair amount of rewriting or extensive user input.
If you need it to do the kind of things I purchased it to do, you should be aware it can’t.

May 9, 2024Hi, thanks for trying out the software.
Though you cannot do a one-button conversion of 30k words yet, you can convert an unlimited text document size if you use the chapter creator. The 30k conversion is coming; however, we have bumped up against tech issues and have been forced to build new technology, which takes time with a small team.
However, if you want to write a full piece, you can try out our recent builds, including the Writing Coach.
Please reach out if you need more clarification.
