Q: I'm going to go out on a limb (albeit a probably very short one) and assume that the credits are lifetime and ...

not recurring in any way, shape or form.

If that's the case, then how much will additional credits cost once we exceed the limit?

I almost wish the credit limit was smaller, but refreshed monthly to provide a true "lifetime deal"

A: Hello!

Thank you very much for your question! :)

The credits are LIFETIME, so they never expire. You can use now, 3 months from now or even later. No problem. After using your AppSumo coupons, you can purchase credits directly starting from only $4 for 1,000 credits. Kindly visit our pricing page (https://thechecker.co/pricing) for more information.

Thank you.

Absolutely agreed!

We've ran this type of offer with multiple products who have a credit model (see Depositphotos in our store right now)

This is what makes the most sense to have continued growth for TheChecker and that makes a great deal for AppSumo Customers.

Give the tool a try - you can buy as many codes as you would see fit for your business, but the credit model is not changing :)

Keep hustling,

Jeff

So then why the deviation for CleaoutPhone now?

This is what I don't understand about your response.
ClearoutPhone has credits that refresh monthly, I believe Snovio does as well as various past deals, whereas others have one-time credits. But don't act like it's NOT possible.
Additionally, if your reasoning is continued growth for the platform and the best deal for Sumolings, then what's your defense for the other models? Do you not care if those platforms continue to grow? Or to offer Sumolings a "worse" offer?
It should really be consistent then if those are the two points you're focusing on.

I am also agree but well, one ***ing million credits it´s a huge number for 49$, and 3 million could be close to agency level right ?

Ya. I mean, I agree, while it is a large amount of credits, assuming 1 credit per email, it would still be nice to have a lower monthly amount just to guarantee that we do have access.

It's not a horrible deal, just not a fan of credits either.

At least to have a discounted price after the deal for the one time purchases of credits would have been nice.

Yeah, but later you get 40,000 credits for $40, In the beginning for $49 appsumo gets you 1,000,000 credits1 That's a steep gap- has to be a sweeter spot for all parties. Just my $.02

Their website says $19 for 1 million emails so I guess I don't quite understand this deal.

Hello!

Thank you!

Thank you so much for your question!

Indeed the credits are LifeTime, so you can use them now, in 6 months time or even next year. The good thing is: you do not have a monthly commitment because you pay as you go.

For the time being, you can find our current price strucuture at https://thechecker.co/pricing.

And no discount for Sumolings for these types of purchases in the future? Full sticker price?

Our prices are super competitive. We are the most cost-effective solution in the market.

Compare the quality/price ratio with all the other tools available and you will see. :)

Come on, it's 1 million credits.

I get the point about monthly, but ONE MILLION credits. And that's just 1 code.

If that does not satisfy us, what will? I think we as sumo-lings at times get carried away :)

I don't think it's considered getting carried away when other deals have had monthly credit refreshes rather than lump sums...
It's a personal preference - and if a product is solid enough and lasts a good while, it would be nice knowing that we'll always be part of that ecosystem and not have to shell out later on. Could I stack now? Sure. But then I run the risk of maybe never hitting that limit and essentially "over-paying" or I *do* invest in the product heavily and it just flops, meaning I'm SOL for the credits I'll never get to use.

I understand the argument from both sides, but I think it's a bit ludicrous that so many people are upset over my personal preference when we have seen monthly credits time and time again...hope no one buys into those deals when they appear...

SapphireWolf,

I disagree. Let me start by saying, I value your posts. You often make valuable points with deal questions, and I personally would make a point of reading a post or reply if I see your name.

But I strongly believe that currently, as sumo-lings, we are moving into territory that makes us look over-demanding and unreasonable, and I don't want that to deter other creators from bringing their best deals to us (imagine someone considering bringing a deal here, who sees a question why it's only a million one-time credits for 1 code).

Anyone in the 1-million-is-not-enough territory can probably afford to stack 5 or 10 codes anyway. That's around 28,000 or 56,000 credits a month for over 15 years.

I love the monthly reset deals too, for the same reason as you. But when a creator comes with 1 million credits for 1 code, I think that's the wrong time to say 'why not monthly?'.

I definitely understand that argument as well, I feel like there are some deals that ARE better as one-off credits versus monthly credits.
The way I view this deal, and others credit deals, is based on this mentality:
Can I keep the redeemed item more or less indefinitely once I use a credit towards it?

If yes, then sure, awesome, one-time credit (think DepositPhotos, AudioHero, etc. - something I can house or store somewhere and let it sit and use and re-use however I see fit.
If no, then I would prefer a monthly credit refresh so that I can continue to use the product/service and it not feel so finite, and is predictable to use, and isn't susceptible to influxes.

I don't think my request or desire for monthly comes from a place of greed, simply that's how I frame it and perceive credits and how I base my credit-based-platform purchases. Which is why I personally went for TrueMail's LTD which offered a monthly credit limit instead.
I do believe the 1M is generous and a great price for here versus what they generally charge on their site for the same limit, i just hope you can see my rationale and where I'm coming from as to thinking long-term security of a product :)

Glad that you do value my opinion and keep an eye out for my posts - hope my differing point of view doesn't compromise that in any way!

Stay safe and healthy during these times, Mike!

According to the Terms of Use, your account "may be deleted" on certain conditions:

"Any account which shows no activity for more than 12 months may be considered inactive. If an account is considered inactive, the account may be deleted and all data associated with that account may be permanently erased."

Doesn't sound like lifetime to me.

Hello!

Good question! In this case, you just have to login once and verify at least 1 email per year to keep your account active. If you're going to verify less than that, so I think it's not the best deal to purchase this offer because you can use the 100 free credits we give to try the tool. :)

Thanks!
