Completely unusable in Italy
I am extremely disappointed with this product. It is completely unusable in Italy due to the lack of available phone numbers on the system. The system itself is cumbersome and difficult to navigate. To make matters worse, the product is non-refundable. I strongly advise against purchasing this product if you are located in Italy or if you value a user-friendly experience.

Great Tool!!
I never write reviews, but what has been posted is really unjust and after implementing Thoightly in production, I feel comfortable writing and honest in hopes that it will help others.
I purchased Thoughtly a few months back. I have to say, this tool is AMAZING!! Sure theee are a few things here and there that can be optimized, but my gosh… this does a LOT of the heavy lifting for my workplace automations. Since using Thoughtly for our recruiting efforts, I can honestly say that we have increased our efficiency by well over 200%! I’m now turning the same proven automation towards sales and I know that I could have never accomplished this without Thoughtly!! if this ever comes back online as a lifetime deal, I would recommend buying this at the highest level, and I hope for the same results in your organization. Most of the time I think of software and wonder if I would purchase the same software today, knowing what I know now. My answer is absolutely and at the highest level!! 5 stars for sure!!

not worth the headaches
i don't know how anyone gave this more than 2 stars. as many have said here, there is no support. they have a chatbot that runs through a loop.
i wanted to refund within 10 mins of buying based on the onboarding alone.
you know when you get the feeling like 'this should be this difficult to sign in' and BAM! - no refunds. Never heard of that on appsumo before. if there is no refunds it's a rug pull.

It's been about 2 weeks, and no response to any of my messages, including business verification. I have been trying to buy a phone number so that I can use this service and it won't let me buy an 800 number. I opened a ticket about number porting and no response. No response in the live chats either so I pretty much wasted my money on a product that I can't use and also there's no refunds.

Has potential,but......
It has potential. Still a little buggy and cannot seem to get proper support with an automation failing to transfer calls to the Thoughtly agent. This is non-refundable so I am hoping it eventually works out.
I happen to like the interface and the quality of the voice. However, I am not able to use the tool at its fullest.

Beta Mode But 100% Worth The Purchase!
If you understand whats under the hood you'll know that this software is way ahead of the competitors.
There are bugs as with any software in development but I don't think most of these reviews are giving credit to the team behind Thoughtly.
Here are the main things that need work on:

Disappointing Experience: Buggy platform, limited customization and unresponsive support
I purchased Thoughtly with the intention of acquiring Tier 5 but opted for a lower tier as a test due to concerns about reported bugs and support issues—a decision that proved prudent. Currently, the platform is excessively buggy and unusable.
Performance Issues: The AI's responses are notably slow, hindering real-time interactions.
Limited Customization: The only available options to customize the voice settings are "Humor" and "Assertiveness." If only two options are to be provided, these are not the most useful. This limitation falls short compared to other platforms and prevents the creation of a voice agent tailored to specific needs. There should be options to choose the language model, responsiveness, and voice models—basic features offered by other platforms.
Annoying Website Chatbot: The website features a chatbot that persistently pops up, repeatedly asking, "How can we help you?" which becomes quite annoying.
Call Functionality: I've used nearly 300 credits on 19 test calls, with every single call being cut off abruptly mid-conversation, rendering the app completely unusable.
Support Response: I logged a support ticket six days ago and have followed up twice, yet received no response—not even a simple acknowledgment like "we'll look into this." Additionally, my messages in the Slack channel are being ignored while I see others receiving responses.
In summary, Thoughtly is currently unusable and was a waste of money. I would not recommend it.

We allow you unlimited ways to customize your agent– it's all about prompting! If you want it to be more personable, go for it! More gracious? No problem. It's all up to you!
If the calls are being cut off halfway through, check your end nodes– sometimes there's a prompt somewhere in the script that will lead that to happen.
Our support team is always standing by to help with bugs. If you need help prompting, feel free to ask around in the Slack Community for help!

Ahmazing Support, Powerful Game Changing Disruption
I dont understand the less than positive reviews of our colleagues. I have had nothing but stellar responses by this nimble team. Liv is my hero and I am her fanboy. On to the magic. What if you could hire not one, not two, but a host of Filipino assistants, pay them virtually nothing and then work them 24/7? If you could, you should be arrested for slave labor.
Now comes that advent of AI and Thoughtly. I have now deployed both inbound and outbound assistants who have perfect diction, can think on the fly, are always bubbly and available 24/7, and my conscience is clear.
What is not there to love?
Finally, there is a massive amount of documentation that has answered all of my questions and then some. If I could, I would max out my tiers (sold out at the time of this writing). This platform is one of those opportunities that seldom come around.
Double finally, for the folks complaining about verification. It is not Thoughtly, it is Twilio. if you are not familiar with Twilio, they are sticklers and Thoughtly can only do so much.

Potential but Customer / technical Support isn't "supporting"
I stacked tier 4 based on the outstanding potential. However, I have multiple outstanding support requests (Ticket #1905) with no response in weeks, not days. it seems like a simple issue (Business Verification) that could be resolved easily if an attempt to provide customer service / technical support is ever actually made.
Considering that this is a pricey APPSUMO deal that is not refundable, this is hard to accept.

The best LTD I have ever purchased
I've purchased many products from AppSumo, but this one truly shines above the rest.
Choosing the right tier was a difficult decision, especially after reading some unfavorable reviews regarding customer support.

Thoughtly's Biggest Flaw? They Simply Don’t Care About Customers
I saw a lot of potential in this product, but Thoughtly provides absolutely no support. I don’t know why, but they just don’t seem to care about their customers. I bought the smallest tier to test how it performs, and I had a few questions, so I reached out to their support team.
They have a chatbot on their website that keeps popping up annoyingly, asking, "How can we help you?" over and over again. But when I clicked on it, I was handed off to an AI chatbot. No matter how many times I asked to speak with a real person, it kept redirecting me, eventually suggesting I join their Slack community to get help from "experts." That was incredibly frustrating.
Then I discovered that Thoughtly has a marketplace or maybe it's just their own team offering paid services to manage Thoughtly accounts. It almost feels like a tactic: ignore customer support requests, then push users toward paid services.
They also offer an option to book a demo call. Since I initially bought the first tier and planned to upgrade, I tried booking a meeting within the first week. But the earliest available date was more than 21 days away, which made it completely useless for me.
It’s been eight days now, and their lifetime deal is about to end, yet I’m still stuck with unresolved integration issues with Google Sheets. They generated a support ticket but never followed up. The only reason I’m even giving this one star is that the product itself seems good. Otherwise, based on customer support alone, they deserve zero stars.
I initially considered purchasing the highest tier, but thankfully, I didn’t because in the end, I’d probably have to pay extra for their "expert services" just to get basic support. And forget about a money-back guarantee; they don’t offer one, likely because they know they won’t respond to refund requests.
If you’re a developer or have deep technical knowledge, maybe this product will work for you. But for the average user, it’s a waste of money. Be careful before investing in Thoughtly.

Regarding the Google Sheets issue, trust me, we’re just as frustrated. Google has been tough to work with, denying our app without clear reasons. But we’re not giving up—we’ll keep pushing until it’s resolved.
As for demo calls, they’re meant for enterprise sales, not support. We’ve partnered with experts to handle managed services, so our team can focus on improving the product. That said, we clearly need to do better in communicating this and providing faster support.

Really buggy, non-existent support, laggy responses
I really, really, really want to like Thought.ly, but the performance is subpar, with glitchy sound, laggy responses, which make the calls awkward, and non-existent support. Even the basic calendar scheduling feature flat out does not work. Thoughtly only provides support through Slack, but it seems like no one actually responds. I waited a couple of weeks and eventually just gave up.

Have you tried more voices available in our voice library? There are 50,000+ to choose from, and unlimited if you count your own voice cloning capabilities!
Lastly, it seems like there was a misunderstanding– the Slack community is meant solely as a community, not for support. We offer support via the chat widget on our dashboard. That might explain why you waited so long, another Thoughtly community member may not have known the answer to your question!

A real business infrastructure play in the last remaining dinosaur vertical ... telephony!
I'm still implementing, but definately one of my top five appsumo deals!
The pros:
A very nice UI
A phone platform with Ai agent learning
Slack channel and communication has definitely improved a bit since December.
The ability to train a half dozen AI agents for a half dozen niche of a niche business verticals is so cool.
Outstanding value! A phone number is only 500 credits. I was just on the Voicegenie site and a 2500 minute plan with them is $500 a month. A similar Thoughtly offer on appsumo is around a thousand bucks for a ltd if you're a plus member.
The cons:
Customer service, too much reliance on AI agents. Need a person that owns the customer service experience. If you prioritize this it would be awesome!
In most cases on Appsumo growing pains are part of the value proposition, most of us understand this. I've got a couple thousand that I'm investing on Thoughtly, I think this company is way too promising and especially at these prices its a great deal. I'm updating my second stack from a 4 to a tier 5!
