What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?
My journey started in college when I built ShoutCoder, a hosting company that gained 500+ clients in just six months. It was my first real taste of entrepreneurship. Though I couldn’t raise funds to scale it further, the experience taught me a lot about growth and hustle.
Over the years, I’ve worked as an A/B testing developer and later as a CRO specialist. During this time, I noticed a clear bottleneck—running a simple experiment on a website often took 1–2 weeks of dev time. That pain point became my opportunity.
Combining everything I’ve learned, I built Tigsaw—a no-code tool that helps users launch components on their website instantly, without writing code. Users can pick elements from a pre-built library or design from scratch—just like Canva, but for websites.
Along the way, I’ve had my share of highs—like an On the Spot award at TCS, and a manager once said, “If we had 10 Vishals, we could rule the world.” And lows—like shutting down a salon startup I launched due to COVID-related costs.
Everything I’ve built, failed at, or succeeded in has shaped Tigsaw and the mission I’m now focused on.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?
Tigsaw wasn’t born in a boardroom—it was born out of frustration.
Our team comes from a hands-on background in design, development, and marketing. Between us, we’ve built, edited, and customized hundreds of websites over the years. But every time we had to add a simple component—a banner, a promo strip, a product highlight—it took hours of work. The process was painfully familiar:
🎨 Design makes the layout
👨💻 Dev team builds it (after clearing their backlog)
📋 PMs chase approvals
🕒 Weeks go by before anything actually goes live
And by then? The campaign window is gone. The messaging is old. The momentum is lost.
We kept asking: why can’t marketers just do this themselves?
That’s when the lightbulb moment hit 💡:
What if we gave marketers the ability to create and publish high-converting components without devs, without waiting, without complexity?
That’s how Tigsaw was born.
We're passionate about Tigsaw because we’ve lived the problem—and we know how empowering it feels to finally have control over your own marketing execution. This isn’t just a tool to us—it’s a movement toward faster, smarter, more agile marketing.
What problem is your product solving and how?
🧩 What problem are we solving (and how)?
Marketing teams are stuck. Even for simple updates like banners, review sections, or urgency timers—they still rely on developers. That creates a huge bottleneck that slows campaigns, kills momentum, and wastes time across design, dev, and project managers.
Tigsaw removes that bottleneck.
We give marketers a no-code platform to instantly create, customize, and publish website components on any website—without waiting for dev help. You get 100+ conversion-optimized templates, full control over placement, and zero need to touch the backend.
📌 Idea → Live in minutes. No tickets. No roadblocks.
Unlike other tools, Tigsaw doesn’t just offer templates or just an editor—we combine both, and we do it well.
✅ 100+ proven, pre-built components tested across industries
✅ A drag-and-drop editor that’s genuinely intuitive
✅ Works on any tech stack—Shopify, WordPress, Magento, HTML, React—you name it
✅ No complex setup, no integrations needed
✅ URL-based targeting and segmentation support for CRO pros
✅ Human-first: we don’t rely on black-box AI to "guess" what works—you stay in control
While other platforms try to automate decision-making, we believe in empowering the marketer, not replacing them. Tigsaw helps you move fast, test smart, and boost your site performance—your way.

What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?
The AppSumo community isn’t just a group of early users—it’s our first wave of co-builders.
With the amazing feedback we get from Sumo-lings, we’ll double down on user research to fine-tune the product experience. We want to understand how different teams—from solopreneurs to agencies—use Tigsaw in real workflows, and then use that data to make the platform even smoother, faster, and smarter.
