Man - I hate to be the guy that throws a little water on the love fire, but honestly, Tixio isn't quite there for me in some places I was counting on...

First, let's talk about what is good and what I like. It is nice to organize my bookmarks and have them appear as app icons in the Dashboard. This is a nice and productive feature.

Simple Notes is another cool widget for the Dashboard, although I would prefer each note to be treated like a virtual Post-it note rather than just lines of text. But this is a solid start.

The Checklist feature is nice, just as a simple checklist to keep up with Quick To-Dos.

Advanced Task is where things started to get rockier for me. I like that there is an ability to have an assignee and status update, but this does not tie into anything else. I would like to see it work in conjunction with the Task Module and for the Task Module to be more robust. (So maybe I am missing the plan here.) I am open to discussion on it.

The Wiki module is my biggest let down, to be honest. I was looking forward to writing out some SOPs, Playbooks, etc. It just isn't there. Very buggy trying to set up new pages. No quick way to interconnect pages (which, to me, is a basic "wiki" function). Everything has to be done through traditional hyperlinks, which are by default set to open in a new tab with no way to modify this setting. The formatting was incredibly minimalist and not my style (bullet points don't indent... why?)

Lastly, the files module I don't understand at all. I could connect both my Google Drive and Dropbox accounts. Google Drive is just a raw dump of everything in the drive without any hierarchy or organization. (it seems to be organized by "Last Modified" with the newest at the top, even if those newest items are in the trash.) Folders are not honored (everything is on the same level, with the folders and the contents of the folders showing up together). I could not find any other way to sort it. This is not a productivity gain.

I connected DropBox, and it just gives me a "no files found" even though I know I have files there... I did not bother to connect OneDrive, because I couldn't see it suddenly being the right thing...

In all, I think there is a lot of potential for Tixio. I haven't seen a roadmap, but I have hope. I believe Tixio feels more like a beta product than a final product.
