Initially, I thought TopicMojo works the same as AnswerThePublic. But Topicmojo is more than that. It has two modules - Topic Model and Question Finder. The third addition is Search Listening which should be available soon.

For the Topic Model, it just added 19 new platforms. This module shows you the trend and search volume (over 12 months) of your topic. You can make a judgment call whether you want to pursue further the topic of your choice or not. It tells you where your topic is mentioned - videos, news, forums, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Medium, Tiktok, Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, etc. So, it gives you an idea of the content format that is preferred and which platform you should focus your content and marketing on.

The Topic Model also breaks down the keywords into intents eg. comparison, shopping, phrases, questions, research, and local. It is helpful when it comes to keyword research and content ideas.

For the Question Finder, it scraps questions that people ask from Google, Reddit, and Quora. These questions are excellent for content ideas. I do hope that it can add questions from the forums or blog comments for a future update.

The only caveat is that you need to pay for the SEO data such as search volume, PPC etc. The good thing is that you can export all the keywords from the Topic and Question modules. Then import the keywords to WriterZen or KeywordEverywhere for the SEO data.

In short, TopicMojo is a quick way to look at your niche from a macro view. If you are a solopreneur like me, a single code should be enough.
