1) Yes, members will have separate login and password.
You can send the link to a copy of your material for another member to edit. They will be different versions of the same material. This is the current way to work as a team sharing the template.

It consistenly doesn't work for me, even with th emost basic two tone images. When can I expect this feature to be refined anough to use?

About the export, it is performed in RGB.
There is a "print mode" where you will have an indicative cutting edge for materials that will be printed.
Our customers usually export materials this way, including outdoors, and we've never had any problems with this.
