Transcript.LOL Reviews

The .LOL makes sense now. You login to use the tool sold to you and they tell you they no longer support how you invested into the software. Praveen Pendyala told me (via chat) that he's sorry I missed a 2 year deadline to redeem my code and to go to AppSumo and "beg fir a refund" with sarcasm in his tone.

I redeemed my code shortly after I purchased the deal in 2024 and I have the welcome email to prove it.

This is the new hustle.

Who's to blame? Idk but I'm out money with no product to show for. Sigh. This is getting old. 😤

After purchase, Transcript.LOL Lifetime deal and introduce some strange limitations, largely reducing my usage. Totally a lier.

I tried to setup my account and the website was down. I tried to do it later when I remembered and I got informed that the delay was passed. Paveen did not want to give me another chance. Since then, I got spammed by emails with no way to opt out and they did not answer any of my emails. I got upset this morning for still receiving their spam, and they banned me. Worst company ever.

I had no choice but to come back well after getting Tier 4 here on AppSumo to leave a real life review. They've changed the way they do business and left Sumolings in the dust with a terrible deal. In order to get clean transcripts without "Transcribe in US English Transcribe in US English Transcribe in US English" embedded everywhere, you have to pay for "Unlimited"

I asked if AppSumo customers would be rolled into the new model and they told me no, I'd need to sign up for the "unlimited" subscription.

This is a total bait and switch and a total waste of money. Don't trust anything this company ever sells.

Look at the owner's reply below, that will tell you he favors revenue over reputation. Next, look at the most recent questions asked here on AppSumo, other users are wanting to know the exact same thing and calling it a "bait and switch" as well.

I hope AppSumo sees this and gives everyone a refund.

Very disappointed by Transcript.lol. We can't even change AI model to a superior model even with the given credits in our plan, thats a paid feature only for subscribers. We are constraint only with low AI models. This is indeed a limitation done on purpose. i wouldn't recommend this app/service to anyone.
