Worst Purchase On AppSumo
I had no choice but to come back well after getting Tier 4 here on AppSumo to leave a real life review. They've changed the way they do business and left Sumolings in the dust with a terrible deal. In order to get clean transcripts without "Transcribe in US English Transcribe in US English Transcribe in US English" embedded everywhere, you have to pay for "Unlimited"
I asked if AppSumo customers would be rolled into the new model and they told me no, I'd need to sign up for the "unlimited" subscription.
This is a total bait and switch and a total waste of money. Don't trust anything this company ever sells.

Look at the owner's reply below, that will tell you he favors revenue over reputation. Next, look at the most recent questions asked here on AppSumo, other users are wanting to know the exact same thing and calling it a "bait and switch" as well.
I hope AppSumo sees this and gives everyone a refund.

Oct 7, 2025This is categorically false. I have responded to your support request about the issue described on one of your transcripts. I have resolved the issue (within 15 hours) and promptly re-transcribed and responded to you.
All users use our best model. Putting Sumolings on a bad model doesn't make sense for us either. All users always use Whisper Large - best in class transcription model.
WE NEVER FORCE USERS TO UPGRADE! Over 3000 sumolings use our app daily without ever having to pay for any "upgrades".
The issue you described has been resolved promptly.
