A reliable password manager with good security, but limited mobile features.
I tried TransferChain Pass for personal use. Passwords are stored very securely thanks to advanced client-side and end-to-end encryption, and blockchain authentication enhances security. Autofill in the browser works well, but sometimes there are delays with the extension. The interface is simple, but the password editing and organization features could be more user-friendly. Unfortunately, there is no full-fledged Android app yet, and the mobile version is limited in functionality, which reduces its usability on smartphones. For one person, it's still a good option if security is important and you're willing to put up with some limitations on mobile devices.

Promising Tool with Effective Secret Sharing for Small Teams
I haven’t explored all the features yet, but the ones I’ve used work smoothly. The secret-sharing feature for small teams is very handy and well designed. I encountered some minor issues with support initially, but they were promptly addressed.
Great job overall!

A New Standard in Digital Asset In-depth Security That Inspires Trust
Having utilized several password managers, including LastPass, 1Password, Pcloud Pass, and Locker.io, I find TransferChain Pass truly stands apart. Its core architecture, built on end-to-end zero-knowledge encryption combined with a unique distributed storage model—where encrypted data is sliced and distributed—gives me unparalleled confidence that my digital assets are thoroughly protected.
The zero-knowledge protocol is the foundation, ensuring that not even the TransferChain team can access my vault. However, the feature that truly differentiates it is the "slice and distribute" model. Knowing that my encrypted data isn't just sitting in one place, but is instead fragmented and spread across a secure network, effectively eliminates the risk of a single-point-of-failure breach. This innovative approach demonstrates a deep understanding of modern security threats.
I also want to commend the support & technical team Mr. Ozan & Ms. Esra. When I encountered an issue during account activation, they proactively initiated a one-on-one video call and resolved the matter with impressive speed and efficiency. I truly appreciate their hands-on approach and rapid resolution.

Cool tool with a few issues
Great tool overall. I would also say it’s the best among the other password tools featured on AppSumo. I just hope the team can fix a few issues, I have listed below:
1. 2FA authentication through google or other authentication when login in or email codes for better security
2. When adding a password, I wish there was an option to include an image. For example, I could add a QR code for 2FA. Some apps I use require 2FA, so the only way a member/employee can access them is by scanning a QR code using a 2FA app. Having the option to add an image would let me share the QR code in the password folder for the member to access so I dont have to manually send them by email.
3. From a UX perspective, you can't open password folders by clicking on them directly. Instead, you have to click the three dots next to the folder to open it. This is unusual they have this limitation. I recommend allowing users to open folders by clicking on the folder itself, rather than on the side, to make it more user-friendly.
4. After creating a password folder, you cannot change or update its name; it seems you can only delete it. I suggest adding an option to edit the folder name, as users may need to update the name instead of deleting the entire folder and starting over.
5. Not easy adding and sharing logins with members, I agree with the previous person who made a review. I hope they can improve this and make it more simpler and optimized. For example I like how LastPass makes it easy to onboard new members/users, get notified when added to folders or passwords etc.

Update Reply:
Thank you for your reply. I'm glad to hear that most of the recommended points 1-4 will be discussed with your team or introduced in new updates.
For point 5: Email notifications when a folder is shared with a user I believe is important. For passwords, it would be helpful to have a toggle for notifications, so users/owners can choose or set which alerts they receive or don’t receive. This allows customization, as some users may want notifications for password shares while others may not.
For the onboarding flow, it would be nice if, when a user receives an invite to sign up, they get a mini tour of how Transfer Chain works after logging in. This could be a pop-up tour for new users or a short video, helping them understand the basics, such as where folders are located, the dos and don’ts aswell as how to install browser extension and how to use it.

Sep 23, 2025Hi Wonka,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review and thoughtful feedback — it’s truly valuable to us!
1. Two-factor authentication is already available for the Admin Panel, but integrating it for the app.transferchain is also on our roadmap, and we’re working to release this feature before the end of the year.
2. Feedback noted. Your usecase can become quite common - I've...

Solid Core, Broken Team Workflow
Transfer Chain Pass is a great tool for securely transferring files, especially when it comes to browsing and sharing. It works very well for these core functions, making it a valuable asset for individual use and sharing with team members when you have only one login available.
However, the experience of onboarding new team members and sharing login details within the business context is unfortunately a nightmare. Despite its potential, the tool makes it incredibly difficult to add new team members and ensure their email and name show up for secure sharing in the contacts.
While if the support is available, they are very helpful and pretty fast, but now with a new member, over the weekend, nobody is available. But not as promised, these issues remain unresolved. Additionally, the promised major update in August, which might have addressed this issue, has not yet materialized.
While the ability to copy login details to people or folders for sharing is present, the overall process feels messy and lacks the streamlined experience one would expect for team collaboration. If these team management and onboarding issues were addressed, this tool would easily be a five-taco product.
I am happy to update the review after solving the issues.
