TransferChain Pass is highly praised for its robust security features, responsive support, and seamless password sharing for teams. While some users have reported minor issues with the user interface and mobile functionality, the product's private, zero-knowledge architecture and multi-layered encryption make it a solid buy, especially with the 60-day money-back guarantee.

One major unresolved issue and some learning curve

After installing TransferChain-Pass, team members are still encountering Chrome's auto-save password prompts, which disrupts workflow and negates TransferChain-Pass's purpose. This is a critical issue. Support acknowledged the problem and promised a major update by the end of the month, but the refund window closes sooner. Therefore, continuing to use the software is not feasible. Additionally, the UI/UX has a steep learning curve and is somewhat confusing.

I was expecting Google-style for enterprise

I was honestly expecting this to auto fill passwords and suggest crazy passwords, and to lock them down automatically. You are unable to categorize, the folders are only for sharing, if you move it to a folder, you can only make a copy. There is no organization to it. I’m disappointed. I was hoping that I could take all of my meager passwords and create an army of encrypted passwords, but that is not what this is for. It’s very cumbersome to add new passwords and I don’t trust it enough. I still have to keep an Excel sheet on my side.

Support is very poor

I initially wasn’t able to activate TransferChain despite several attempts. AppSumo support referred me to the TransferChain team, and after following up with them, the issue was finally resolved. The process was a bit frustrating at first, but I’m glad the problem is now fixed.

Hey there genius4,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this, and for sticking with us through the activation issue.

I’m really glad we were able to get everything resolved for you. Activation problems are extremely rare within AppSumo and not related to the product's features, but like any issue, when they do happen, we want to make sure they’re solved quickly!

A reliable password manager with good security, but limited mobile features.

I tried TransferChain Pass for personal use. Passwords are stored very securely thanks to advanced client-side and end-to-end encryption, and blockchain authentication enhances security. Autofill in the browser works well, but sometimes there are delays with the extension. The interface is simple, but the password editing and organization features could be more user-friendly. Unfortunately, there is no full-fledged Android app yet, and the mobile version is limited in functionality, which reduces its usability on smartphones. For one person, it's still a good option if security is important and you're willing to put up with some limitations on mobile devices.
