The limitation isn't voluntary from our side, because the 50 file limit arises from our client-side & end-to-end encryption and cryptographic file splitting. As your data gets encrypted on your client and gets split into chunks before it leaves your device, we always want to provide the most optimized service across all kinds of low and high-performance devices from our users. Thus optimizing file counts becomes crucial to maintaining our promise of speed and performance.

TransferChain was founded to provide the utmost security and privacy for our users. Since we never retreat from our security & privacy promise, this sometimes brings as challenges like the file count. 🔐☁️

However, along with security and privacy, we strive to create a seamless and efficient experience for all our users, and it's clear we fell short in your case for the time being.

We already have plans to improve the batch upload limit within Q3 2024 significantly - along with additional enhancements to better meet the needs of our users. 👨🏻‍💻
