Disappointing
I have been part of a team developing a no-code app which won the MITX Technology Award several years ago. So I know a thing or two about simplicity and workflows. This thing is not simple and the execution is subpar.A good example of that philosophy is the login process : once you click on login, another browser tab opens. You go to "my application" and click on the URL provided, and it opens in another tab. Voilà - in 3 clicks, 3 browser tabs opened. The same redundancy is seen in the exercises (onboarding)part, where the same useless 19 seconds badly recorded video welcomes you each time you start where you left.
In design flow, if you want to do anything you get a pop-up with choices and "next" buttons instead of floating menus with all options available. The user is constantly faced with interruptions, ie pop-ups with choices, some of them hidden below the float because the pop-ups all have the same size and therefore need a scroll bar (pop-ups with scroll bars ! My grandma told me not to do that) when all options should have been available right away; for instance via a floating toolbar.
On top of that upon creating my space I faced a 404 and had to wait while "server maintenance" was performed.
I get that apps that are on AppSumo are not defect-free, but given the complete nonsense deal where you can buy a monthly addon that's just slightly less expensive than the next tier, given the fact that you can only run one app in production even if it uses only 1,000 actions, given the steep learning curve and the bad UI, I guess Triggre and I have a different philosophy and I prefer to get a refund.

May 9, 2024Hi Vuk,
Thanks for taking the time to write this extended review.
We have chosen a design philosophy with wizards containing only a few options to make it as error-free as possible. We see a lot of platforms where you have 25 choices of which only 5 would make sense in the given situation. We only show those 5.
I'm sorry to hear that the pricing of the LifeTimeDeal didn't meet your expectation and you'd like to exchange actions between applications. We chose not to do this for this deal. It is possible in our Enterprise plan though.
You're hitting the nail right on the head, I think, by saying we both have a different design philosophy. Sometimes a platform and customer don't fit, however we do see a lot of other customers who are a great match with Triggre and they love creating applications with Triggre.
Thanks for giving our platform a try and giving us the feedback you gave us.
