Q: Mobile UX and functions compared to Desktop
From the videos on YT how closely does the mobile app match the desktop functions, apart from Automations & Training. Could you clarify whether the main features are essentially the same on Android/iOS and desktop?
For ex. On desktop, the inline workflow is:
-Select text in an email
- Trigger Triplo with a hotkey or the Triplo bar
- Type //uniquecommand
Get the result directly back in the email app (e.g. English → Japanese)
On Android:
- Select the text in the email app
- Share it to the Triplo app
- Add the //uniquecommand
- Copy and paste the result back into the email app
Is that correct?
Also, do custom commands created on mobile sync with desktop, or are they stored separately per device?
Finally, could you share anything about your roadmap for improving mobile inline usage and feature parity with desktop?

Edited Nov 26, 2025A: Hey, not sure what happened to my first response. Let me answer again.
Bottom line: we know the mobile experience isn't quite as polished as what we've built for desktop. There are a few reasons why, which I'll break down below.
That said, you'll have access to almost everything on Triplo AI Mobile that you get on desktop. What's missing? Automations, Agents, and Training the Minds (though Minds themselves are available) – and I think that's about it. Everything else is there: Custom SmartPrompts, Instructions, Voice, Minds, Local LLMs, Awareness, you name it.
So why the difference? Mobile input is just more limited by nature. On desktop, Triplo AI takes advantage of keyboard shortcuts, hotkeys, and mouse movements to keep things quick and smooth. On mobile, you've mainly got your finger. Plus, mobile operating systems restrict clipboard access, which is why Awareness works differently – you need to copy content and then manually inject it into Triplo AI.
We're not quite there yet, but we're making progress. We're about to drop a new version that I've already tested, and honestly, it's way better than what's out now. We'll see how it goes.
Take care,
Felipe
Felipe, thank you for coming back and redoing the reply. I will probably grab Tier 2. I find I am using my phone use for work is increasing hence the question but I understand the nature of iOS and Android's restrictions.
Do the addition of bluetooth keyboards with mobile devices add functionality for Tripio Mobile that you can't achieve with the onscreen keyboard?
Cool! Unfortunately, the presence of Bluetooth keyboards has no impact on the restrictions hence UX. The behavior remains unchanged.
Important info here.
