ASumolingQ: Speech Chatting and BYOK/tokens
Hi,
Triplo looks very exciting.
I have some questions:
I drive a long commute to work and am looking chat with AI and get responses vocally so that I literally can have a spoken conversation with AI without typing at all or looking down at my phone. Is this possible?
Additionally, can I use bring your own key for models where I have a subscription and reserve the tokens/credits to use models that I don't have a key for?

Great questions! Yes, you can absolutely have spoken conversations with AI while driving. Triplo AI supports voice mode, which lets you chat with AI using your voice and hear responses back. You'll need to add your own OpenAI API key (BYOK) and activate the Voice Support mode in the app. Once that's set up, you're free to have natural conversations in most languages without typing or looking at your screen, which is perfect for your commute.
Regarding your second question about mixing BYOK with Triplo's allowance, that's totally doable. The way it works is pretty straightforward. The active keys determine where costs are allocated. If you have your own API key active (BYOK), Triplo will use that. If you don't have a key active or haven't added one for a specific provider, Triplo's allowance kicks in automatically. You get a generous 2 million tokens per month as part of your plan.
There's even an On/Off switch right on your Triplo AI Settings screen next to the API Key fields. This means you can easily toggle your API keys on or off without having to revoke them completely. So you could use your own keys for certain models where you have subscriptions, then switch them off and use Triplo's allowance for other models you want to try out. It gives you total flexibility.
