Yeah, you're totally right about this. If you're only planning to use 4 devices, Tier 3 is definitely the way to go. It gives you up to 10 devices, so you're covered there, plus you get the higher automation limits and the same 2 million tokens per device per month.

Tier 4 just adds more device slots on top of what Tier 3 offers, but the token allowance per device stays the same at 2 million, and the automation features don't increase either. So if you're not planning to use more than 10 devices, you'd basically be paying extra for capacity you won't use.

Stick with Tier 3 for your 4 device setup. It's got everything you need without the extra cost. You can always upgrade later if your device situation changes and you need more slots.
