Triplo AI 7.0 is out, and if you bought Triplo AI on AppSumo, it is already yours. Your license is honored in full: same license key, same devices, nothing to buy again. The new features come to you mapped to the tier you own.

7.0 is the biggest release we have ever shipped, and it comes after more than 100 releases since 2023. Triplo AI is a trademark in the US and the EU, and we are building it for the long run.

The core idea is the one you already know: select text in any app, press your hotkey, and get the result back right where you were. No tab, no copy and paste. 7.0 takes that further:

- Agents behind your hotkey. Pi now ships inside Triplo. Pick it, choose a folder, and you have an agent that reads files, runs commands and edits code from the same keystroke (it runs on your own provider API key). Already running a Hermes gateway? Triplo finds it and connects by itself.

- Answers from your own material, searched on your machine. Minds (Training) are now real folders on your disk. Search works by meaning, offline, and every answer shows the sources it came from. A local MCP server lets tools like Claude Code search your Minds too.

- Everything you build is yours. SmartPrompts, Instructions, Automations, conversations and Minds are now Markdown files in your Documents folder. Edit them in any editor, back them up, keep versions.

- Any model, your call. Allowance models included with your license, your own API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter or anything OpenAI compatible), or local models through Ollama and LM Studio.

Coming from 6.x? Back up first (Help & About > Backup My Data, still on 6.x). Your SmartPrompts, Instructions and Minds migrate on first run. On macOS, remove Triplo from the Accessibility list, add it again and restart.
