Awareness Commands in Saved Custom Prompts/Templates
Can the Awareness commands (//context//, //selection//, and //clip//) be included inside a saved custom prompt or template and still function properly? If this isn’t supported yet, are there any plans to enable this functionality in a future update?

Nov 29, 2025Oh man! You dropped a 5 tacos question on us! Thank you so much :)
Jokes aside, I think this belongs in a different section anyway, but let me answer you.
That's a really interesting question and gets right to the heart of our design process.
We think of Custom SmartPrompts as the "static" part of your prompt and Awareness as the dynamic part. So the structure would look something like this: "I'll share content with you and I want you to do this, this, and that. The content is:" – that's your Custom SmartPrompt (let's call it "dothis"), and then you'd add Awareness to it.
The actual prompt you'd call on Triplo AI would be: "dothis //selection//"
That said, I'm honestly not sure if inserting "//clipboard//" under a Custom SmartPrompt would work... but I'll definitely give it a try.
Thanks for the tacos!
Take care,

PS: I'll ask Appsumo to move this to the questions section
