Monthly tokens are meh, my laptop runs better models than Google Gemini 2.5 Flash and GPT5 Nano
See title. I want to love the product, but compared to Alter this product is a MASSIVE let down. Every time I use Alter I think of all the value Triplo could have been, but the Triplo team does not have the same ambition as Alter's team.
A few things:
1) No updates since April 2026 according to the Company's own changelogs. Meanwhile the Alter team is pushing weekly updates
2) Models have not been updated in a long long time. At this point, my laptop runs better models than what is on Triplo
3) Features have started to go stale, and the product is moving towards abandonware/shelfware very fast

1) On the monthly token allowance: Triplo AI was never positioned as a "Lifetime Deal for premium AI tokens." This has never been advertised on our offer page, and we've clarified this to users on multiple occasions. The included allowance exists to remove friction and let new users comfortably explore and use Triplo AI from day one, not to serve as a substitute for a premium AI subscription.
2) On model updates: Respectfully, this isn't accurate. We regularly add and update models, for example:
- Aug 27: GLM 5.3 Flash, DeepSeek v4 Flash (updated to 4.1)
- Aug 11: Nemotron 3.5 Lightning
- Aug 10: Qwen 3.7, Laguna 2.1
- Jul 10: NEX N2
These are just recent examples, there have been more. That said, to be transparent: if you're expecting Claude-tier models included in the base allowance, that's not something we offer, nor is it something the deal ever promised.
3) On the product going stale: Another one that we respectfully disagree. Development is ongoing, and features continue to be refined and expanded based on user feedback.
